  • Learnt quite abit from this tut ,cheers dude

  • the second exaple sounds boom

  • Have you seen the subfocus dnb tutorial? Massive is the best synth for dnb just got to know how to use it, and its very easy and intuitive to and you can assign much more things with alot more flexibility, not to mention that it just sounds MASSIVE thus the name

  • @Clinteastvveed

    There is no Best.

What the hell is with that. Massive is a great synth and so are lots of other. If you follow the rules of what is 'best' then your creativity died a long time.

  • @snitchnjabbajaw If you follow the rules of what is best? Why? There are no rules, the best is what most suits your creative flow, and massive does just that for me.Ive tried alot of synths, alot of them have their advantages and strong sides, but overall massive always seems to outperform, producing the desired timbre faster and with higher fidelity. Maybe "best" is a loud term thats hard to digest for some other synths fanatics, but thats THE soft synth that id recommend

  • круто звучит

  • Nobody understand, just who learnd it....Vst-s have better sounding!!!!Reason is a good software,i love it and use it,but Vst synths are better.(more waveforms)

  • @benjoe999 true. i'm planning on using other software soon (live) exactly for that reason.

reason's engine is good. but not good enough for the stuff i want to do :)

  • @benjoe999

What do you even mean by this? Malstrom is a vst, just a native vst for in Reason..

  • @benjoe999 with stereo imagers and Eqing you can make your own vst in reason.

  • @djlabrat74 p.s. Portamomento.

  • @djlabrat74

That is nothing, just sounding....The most important is the waveform generators! This is only a closed system,so you can't support new things...

  • @benjoe999

As for waveform generators, THOR is the daddy for me. Dont like using graintables so much due to unpredictability/how hard they are to fit into the mix. You can make any sound you like in Reason, just a different process, because youre splitting the signal manually every step of the way it means you have max control over every single element of it, rather than just having a VST work the magic for you.

  • you can never play good dark dnb with reason, because you can't use vst-s in reason!!!!

  • @benjoe999 lol be quiet

  • @benjoe999 tell that to loki he uses reason and is now signed to bad taste U TWAT!

  • @logicalDnB getting signed doesn't mean shit

    (no offence loki)

  • @benjoe999 reason doesnt need vsts. it has its own instruments, the key to dark dnb isnt what synth/vst u use its how u use it. Noisia are huge fans of reason and i hear reason synths all the time in their tunes. I believe that you dont know much at all about synthesis and i bet you just scroll thru vsts and presets to find sounds rather than engineering them yourself. My advise is pick one vst and learn it inside out. Thats how to get unique sounds. NI Massive is good but SO IS REASON!

  • @wildfire2097 ni massive can do so much more that maelmstrom can.

and i need a drag and drop audio interface. this recycle bullshit is getting on my nerves every time.

  • @wildfire2097

just listen the sounding between reason and protools,or cubase.....thats all

  • @wildfire2097 no one has ever said that reason isnt good.. I love reason, but why are you insisting that people limit themself to the synths included in it? Like using other synths is some sort of crime.. Not liming yourself and expanding your tool set is what will drive your creative evolution forward. I resample any VST i want and then use it in reason. Your delusional if you think thor and maelstrom and subtractor are competing with hardware synths.. Noisia hasnt used reason in 10 years

  • Nice bass sounds dude but there not 'reece' basslines really

  • shit i didnt know you could get those kinda sounds straight outta vst

  • not best tutorial :D

but i aint give a shit about tutorials :D

i really love ur work. and i love to find sounds my self :P

    keep going with ya tracks!

  • sick man
