I'm glad you mentioned not memorizing/using a ruler. It's much better to draw "from the gut" using measurements merely as guideposts. Good video btw.

Interesting version on proportion. Unfortunately many instructors will tell you that the nipples and navel are terrible landmarks as they move around quite a bit from person to person. My school of thought comes from Robert Hale, who only uses bone landmarks that rarely change. I suggest to anyone to explore and you will find that this is true.

Thanks for this video! I knew several of the measurements previously, but you never learn them on the first try, and I learned some new ones as well. :) I'd been using an 8-heads measurement for a LONG time, and now that I've switched to 7.5 I see my figures always looked odd.

This I already knew or guessed. (Though I admit, it IS nice to vindicated about the head length as compared to the height of the body thing. - I've often found myself noticing that people who held to the ... I don't what to call them 'old standards'? drew bodies which often seemed too long when compared average real life people.)
