He's athletic (boxing, junior olympic oarsman) plays the piano, guitar, saxophone, drums, harmonica, and dances samba (see "girl from rio"). He also is incredibly sexy, funny, kind and charming. According to his friends (Emma and Stephen) he's also an excellent father. If there is something this man cannot do, I'd like to know what it is. It's probably not worth doing.

I love the house series, the wealth of variety and emotions throughout the series is astounding. The emotional scenes are so well shot and produced and combined with the quality of the actor's performances; they pull on every emotion I can think of. Anger, fear, love, sadness, mirth joy and best of all.. hope.

Love it, Laurie is a genius. If you watch the episode (S05E15), you'll understand where the songs 'parts' come from-relating to Cuddy's baby's Jewish naming ceremony, hence the Jewish theme. Then from 1:10, the song 'you can't always get what you want' possibly because House WANTS Cuddy?!

@IAmTheLawNr1 My thoughts are drawn , at that particular juncture, towards very traditional Jewish pattern of melody, perhaps Klezmer... I do love the Finding Neverland soundtrack! The end is "You can't always get what you want", which is an often returning tune in House. Hugh has used a number of songs, composed bits of the piece, and put them all together. I call that highly accomplished. He's an excellent talent, Hugh Laurie. Both acting-wise, composing-wise and writing-wise.
