With the implementation of a new money system that would give everyone an Equal opportunity and access to the basic necessities we all have in Common CCTV cameras would no longer be necessary since money related crime would disappear and with that fear would decrease
These people who are afraid of CCTV actually believe that what they do 'in private' is separate from what they do in public - because they live in their mind only and do not see the interconnectedness of the physical.
i mean an action done in private is no different from an action done in public - the only reason to defend privacy is so one can deceive

It's not about deception, privacy is necessary for people to function in a psychologically healthy and productive manner
Beyond that, state surveillance doesn't work, it's just a kinky little perversion for public officials who get off on voyeurism and domination. At the very least, the state should not have a monopoly on surveillance systems

CCTV is part of a larger structure which is buliding a new society - Related to what you say - I feel CCTV encourages people to pass self responsibilty over to others...

When we remain the same in self-honesty- equal and one to all life here, our fears as this will stop and we will support each other practically and diligently till basic needs of all are met unconditionally. Till it's done. Equal and One is an Equal Monetary System and World Equality.
The main problem with cctv is when anything realy bad happens the cctv is never working the cctv is poor quality & hardl any crimiinals get caught.
Just think of the millions that could have been fed with the money from the cctv!
