Im in the Army and managed for a Ranger Contract. Im friends with people in all branches. All are brothers in arms, all risking the same for the same goal, for people to have the freedom to be happy, and if comparing branches makes them happy, well thats freedom, even if it gets annoying.

I have experienced some of the PT from Ranger friends of mine and well, its nuts to say the least. Dont put down Rangers because there A LOT more to it then what just meets the eye. Simply doing the combat rappell you saw at 0:43 can destroy any regular civilian. Doing it at that hight can shut a non mentally strong person down. They let us do that rappell in JCLC w/o rifle and it was terrifying at first but fun in the end.

Green Berets are the only Special Force's unit America. But if you want to get into Tier 1, that is a different story.

Giants are different then the NFL, it doesn't make sense.

I think of Rangers as Best of the Best infantryman. All i can say is start training now.

Direct engagement, 1st infantry, 82nd Airborne, or something of the same specialization. Capturing an HVT I'd either choose Delta or Green Berets. Recon, Rangers, Delta, or Berets.

The Navy SEALs, on top of that, just get their helos shot down while their whole squad dies without getting anything done. Delta has shown to be one of the best forces on earth.

Well Force Recon and Army Rangers are in fact the same tier. No one is "tougher" or harder" than the other. The fact is that they are both special operation (not to be confused with Special Forces). Another fact is that if u want THE LONGEST AND HARDEST TRAINING MEN IN THE WORLD...look at the US Air Force Pararescue Jumpers (PJs) then tell me who has it worse in training.

When Recon Marines have harder training, that doesn't make them better. That just makes them able to lift more weight, because getting the mission done is about lifting the most weight, right? Rangers aren't just brute force, they do Recon missions more than the Force Recon (Who were built for recon), the do NOT do brute force, that is the basic infantry, the fight with small squads in high stress situations while being able to think because their training wasn't about lifting shit all day.

First off i dont want to hear any civlilian talk about who is better. Its pretty retarded to me since both are on the same side and will both shoot in the same direction. Dont put down Rangers because there A LOT more to it then what just meets the eye. Simply doing the combat rappell you saw at 0:43 can destroy any regular civilian. Doing it at that hight can shut a non mentally strong person down. They let us do that rappell in JCLC w/o rifle and it was terrifying at first but fun in the end.

Green Berets are the only Special Force's unit America. But if you want to get into Tier 1, that is a different story.

American Special operations Forces are the equivalent to all the other countries' "Special Forces". Saying the Special Forces are different then Special Operation Forces would be like saying the N.Y. Giants are different then the NFL, it doesn't make sense.

You should look in the mirror before you start making accusations, because it seems to me that you too "have no concept of what they do".

I think of Rangers as Best of the Best infantryman. Or do you want to be the unknown force that Operates behind enemy lines, are more so focused on anti-terrorism, very elite to the point where your existence is kept secret, and etc. Just know both are very challenging and hard to get into. All i can say is start training now.

Direct engagement, 1st infantry, 82nd Airborne, or something of the same specialization. Capturing an HVT I'd either choose Delta or Green Berets. Recon, Rangers, Delta, or Berets.

The Navy SEALs, on top of that, just get their helos shot down while their whole squad dies without getting anything done. Delta has shown to be one of the best forces on earth.

Well Force Recon and Army Rangers are in fact the same tier. No one is "tougher" or harder" than the other. The fact is that they are both special operation (not to be confused with Special Forces). Another fact is that if u want THE LONGEST AND HARDEST TRAINING MEN IN THE WORLD...look at the US Air Force Pararescue Jumpers (PJs) then tell me who has it worse in training.

When Recon Marines have harder training, that doesn't make them better. That just makes them able to lift more weight, because getting the mission done is about lifting the most weight, right? Rangers aren't just brute force, they do Recon missions more than the Force Recon (Who were built for recon), the do NOT do brute force, that is the basic infantry, the fight with small squads in high stress situations while being able to think because their training wasn't about lifting shit all day.

My cousin spent 6yrs in 3rd batt.75th, a hard core RANGER, he worked with Marines several times and said they were well motivated,did their job, and had a great attitude, and didn't put up with bullshit belly aching from their guys..I work in the SF community,and seeing former and active Marines there i have to agree-Professional...If your not in a position to see either side at work in the field, you might need to reserve your comments..
