Ho hum. Another Boston College victory over Notre Dame (at Notre Dame).

Notre Dame coulda and shoulda won this game. They lost because of 2 STUPID penalties they committed. 1 was the excessive celebration after the 2nd TD giving BC great field position which led them to get a TD.

And then later in the game Notre Dame got a touchdown but it was taken away because there was a HOLDING penalty called on the Irish! If these 2 penalties were not committed by ND and there was no more scoring, the Irish would have won 21-20.

if boston college can only win 28-14 to a 3-9 notre dame team, how in the world can they be one of the top 5 teams in the nation?

BC dominated this game, look at the stats, not the final score.

Notre Dame was never in it.

BC won a lot of close games, but a win is a win, it doesn't matter how much you win by. Running up the score doesn't make a good team.
