@3510211 i never said he spins basic because of no cdjs. seen deadma5 about 3 times and 2 of the times he used the cube in which he doesnt spin live. everything is predone to match the visuals on the cube, hes said it in an interview. and he uses ableton which i do too. your set is already done beforehand. the work comes in putting the set together before the show. the live show is simple and perfect.

I just saw him at EDC 2010 in LA, and his set was definitely the best that I saw. And he was playing alongside some of the best; Deadmau5, Afrojacks, Dada Life, Infected Mushroom, Basement Jaxx, Kaskade, and more.

Whether it was pre-mixed or not, he was able to predict what the crowd wanted and catered to us while leaving us still wanting more. It was long enough to amaze, but short and varied enough to make sure no one got bored.

@longarmz1 i mean sure, hes no A-trak but he doesnt put himself out there as the best. He knows what large crowds of people want to hear when theyre in a club which is what many talented turntablelists dont. Its just all technique but no real crowd definition. So yeah its all pre-mixed, he still throws a bomb party. I saw him in Madrid and it was just crazy. Hes more of a producer though. Still he collaborates with so many popular djs that have brought us some of the greatest tracks in music
