I figured out how to do this. It just happened to me.

I got stunned by a smoke as I was getting downed and I couldn't shoot or anything. My camera angle was all fucked up and all I could do was jump backwards.

happened to me 2 wekks ago it happens when u die and the camera goeas a few feet away from u you get downed but then get straight up the gow death symbol still there but you can move your character can only move while turning u can roll but cant rodie run .

Gears 1 used to be so much fun, i would play it for hours on end. The biggest thing tht makes this game not fun is the missing of player match lobby where other people could join. Now every game is ranked which means u can only play up to 5 friends. Yes u could do a private match but then no one else could join unless u invited them.

Also Smoke gernades really is what make the pase of this game look so slow compared to GOW 1. Its Horrible

it seems like epic never addreses the problems that are the most important to the players in there updates. they always fix shit that i wouldnt care about if they would just fix these other problems.... i.e.- chainsaw, melee, etc.. i love the game but these updates get me all excited and then they just take care of all these bullshit meaningless things in the game... like the smokes making you cringe all the time now? who the fuck cares, fix the damn chainsaw then worry about the minor things
