someone plz help, i read the diery of the jak and then asked grey fox about the diery and when he finished talking, all he sais is ,,Not now, i have to think" what to do now?

I killed someone and I had to pay blood money. So I did and it gave me my reward. But the quest is still not complete and the gray fox won't talk to me. I tried to get kick out but it still won't work

I'm having the same problem expect i was able to turn in the boots and now its saying on the quest about the gray fox is not immortal......who is the current gray fox?and thats all it say ive waited for a long time and no messanger ive fenced 1000 gold....could someone plz help me?

At the end of the quest, after retrieving the boots, do not discuss the diary entry or the Imbel Family Tree (if you stole it from Jak's desk) with the Gray Fox until after you've turned in the boots for your reward. It will glitch the quest, making it impossible to finish. The Gray Fox will simply stand there saying "Not now. I need to think" when you try and talk to him. You can fix this glitch by typing setstage TG10Boots 50 in the command line. then it is gona be ok.

Some sort of weird glitch is going on right now I killed the servant during the quest and I payed the blood price and finished the quest and got the reward that the gray fox was supposed to give me but now the quest "The Boots of Springheel Jak" is still in my Current Quests list and whenever I talk to the Gray Fox all he says is "Not Now, I Need To Think." Anyone know what I should do or if I am literally screwed and can't progress in the theives guild anymore?

really nice walkthrough, but i have a question, i went into the catacombs and read the book, nothing happenednd, i read online and went back to the catacombs, dropped the book and read it again, now i got a map marker saying that maybe springheel jak knew the grey fox and that i should talk to the grey fox about it, but when i go to cheydinhal he isnt there! please help!
