Hi JIMMORGAN.I appreciate your morning devotions and they're so cool, real, and very special for a morning devotion (probably one of the best presentations on youtube)but I just want to comment on :26 seconds to :34 seconds.You say that these men who played video games and "indulged" in sports and hobbies "never grew up." I DO agree with the video games part, but men who PLAYED sports when they were younger, aren't they actually more physically healthy and less likely to be stressed to do sin?

Thanks for the devotion this am. Yes, it's time to man up. For me, I find strength in scriptures where Jesus asked Peter: "Peter do you love me?" When I ask myself the same question the answer tells me all I need to know. If I love Jesus I'm going to walk with the Holy Spirit and that will put JOY in everything I do.

Good video I think it is definitely true that us men have to work hard... especially with family and our relationships. One thing I wanted to add is that while we are to work hard most of the time it is not bad to have a time of rest too. Reading the Rest of God by Mark Buchanan provided me with great insight to working hard most of the week but also taking time for rest and regeneration as God intended with the Sabbath. But I do agree we need to step up and be the men we are called to be.

It's interesting how God places certain things in your life at certain times. This video could have been a documentry on me, and wouldn't have changed at all. Lord give me the strength to change, and the wisdom to trust you.
