My personal tip: to have a smoother sound (that will be very lovely) pickthe strings more near to the hole. (Y) You should try this with the chords. Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback. Funny you should say that though because I got told off for fingerpicking too softly/without confidence not long ago, playing this same track.

Yes It is good to be harsh in situations, other times Its good to be soft, When I play this I alternate significantly with how hard/soft I pluck
I suppose my only advice would be to "play with confidence while playing soft" to balance out the soft and loud but that was worded horribly I hope you understand what im trying to say lol

Funny enough thats the first thing my guitar teacher told me on my first lesson.... and you're right, it is smoother.
