I actually used to listen to -core metal.. and in a way.. I don't think it's bad. Because I believe it made me get used to these kind of vocals and appreciate them.. the only thing that was missing was the overall awesomeness of the song, the melody.. I just got bored from the -core songs, because they were all alike (in songs, but also in bands). The only -core song I enjoy to listen to these days is Unearth - Zombie Autopilot. :')
