  • So they (Moving company) had a CLAUSE in a

contract that they wanted you to sign releasing

them from responsibility for any damages.

That is what insurance is for.Must not have been

much of a company if they wanted you to sign that

especially when they are handling other peoples stuff. If you didn't pay them i don't blame you.Their insurance carrier (if they had one)should have hired someone to fix the damage and pay for it.

  • Most generally any type of business like this

has general liability insurance or well lets say

that they probably would if i hired them and at the rate these transit companies and moving companies charge they should have it.

Anytime you are in in any kind of business where you dealing with other peoples property

or there is a liability of damages at risk.

  • I'm guilty of the cell phone in the theater thing :( I ONLY DID IT TWICE THOUGH!!!
