I visited Australia and it was pretty awesome. I have a jungle carpet python as my first snake; and they are so amazing; but their picky eating habits make it hard to feed them!
=/ It's a shame there are all these absurd rules when it comes to the import and export of snakes. It's one thing if you're bringing in wild caught when there's a cb population already, but it's another if you can't even get them from other breeders.

Great show ...But as an Australian would love to has seen how YOU handle the King Brown ..Both my encounters with this snake (in the wild) have been scary, the way it stood up on its tail and flared its neck and tried to strike...such an aggressive Snake.(I must add it was not cornered or threatened..we just happen to be in its path to the river)...I'll stick to watching the brilliant green coastal pythons on my Sunday walks

For example in Korea, an albino corn snake costs about 6 times as much as they do in the States. Not only that, but there is very little diversity in terms of species. I can't find animals like kenyans, Okeetee corns, and chocolate kings. That's how bad the market for reptiles is here.
@jxz107 My local reptile pet shop gets in kenyans in all the time but no balls or corns. He gets in mainly Kenyans, retics, burms, and carpet pythons. Every now and then some green tree boas/pythons. I've noticed that the market is bad out here to.
hey bhb im only 12 and the number 1 thing on my bucket list is to go to Australia. I started loving this country when i learned about whites tree frogs. Then i learned about bearded dragons. @SnakeBytesTV Someone in Europe has some rough scaled pythons they got after a bloke was nicked smuggling them from Australia, they remain the property of the goverment though, but he is allowed to breed from them to get some babies for the hobby/pet trade.. I think they should have some next season..
@littlemissdoodle steve irwin was against private keeping of reptiles in australia. not many here in oz have much of a liking for him considering he was actively trying to stop it.

Oh, and living in South Australia I have to say the only snake encounters I've had in the wild are Eastern Brown Snakes...very common and dangerous. We had one come into our house when I was younger! Can't help but love snakes though. :)
I would love to go to Japan. I have always been fascinated by the culture and their exports. From Samurai to Anime to Godzilla the Japanese come off as totally weird and totally cool all at the same time. And it's nice that I wouldn't have to worry about someone hating or even killing me there simply because I am from the USA.

Hey Brian! Locality is really a big influence, as just recently found out! I started the hobby loving in the UK and seen all kinds possible of boas, till I came back to Brazil and bought a GENUINE red tail, a BCC. not to mention the colours, even the attitude is different! I live in Malaysia and it is very hot here. So, my favourite foreign country to go would be either North America or Canada. I would also like to go to Texas because there are species of snake that I would like to see which are copperheads.
You say you can't get some bloodlines and localities, but can't you breed them yourselves? And those Aussie pythons are pretty cool. We see the balls so often. Show the Aussies more, please.

Africa because I love ball pythons and I'd like to see them in the wild. Brazil and other areas of south America because of rainbow boas, argentinan horned toads, also known as packman frogs. And poison dart frogs because they're just fricken awesome. Then for a twist. Some areas of Asia because I love tigers and want to stop the increasing death rate of them, as they are falling below 2000 in the wild. Love the show guys

I would love to go to Indonesia, Komodo island would be awesome along with the Reticulated pythons cave, I have only heard friends that have gone talk about it. Someday soon I shall be there

Hey Brian! Locality is really a big influence, as just recently found out! I started the hobby loving in the UK and seen all kinds possible of boas, till I came back to Brazil and bought a GENUINE red tail, a BCC. not to mention the colours, even the attitude is different! Looks like a whole different animal!!! Great show and happy thanksgiving

as someone from australia i can tell you that i would be very careful with a snake in the wild. the other day i was walking and i almost stepped on a brown snake, luckily it didn't bite me but it did give me a fright

I live in Malaysia and it is very hot here. So, my favourite foreign country to go would be either North America or Canada. I would also like to go to Texas because there are species of snake that I would like to see which are copperheads.

One of the places I always wanted to visit was Australia and I ended up moving here a few months ago! Had to sell my reptiles before I moved and I've been thinking of getting another snake, if I do it'll definitely be a woma python they're awesome!

Africa because I love ball pythons and I'd like to see them in the wild. Brazil and other areas of south America because of rainbow boas, argentinan horned toads, also known as packman frogs. And poison dart frogs because they're just fricken awesome. Then for a twist. Some areas of Asia because I love tigers and want to stop the increasing death rate of them, as they are falling below 2000 in the wild. Love the show guys
