Well, Carl Orff´s "O Fortuna" is not so bad, indeed, and possibly would also fit to this vid. But it is already used in too many videos so that I did not consider it for my vid. Besides, I rather prefer to use not too popular music - you can call it "extravagant", if you want. :-) And you should not care too much about other peoples taste in your vids, because it is YOUR vid after all and better should reflect your own individual tatse so that people can learn more about you.

Iran & Iraq are not comparable at all. Iran have much more modern, upgraded & effective weapon systems than Iraq ever did. Moreover, Iranian soldiers are much better trained, and have better moral. And if the West & the East had not supported Iraq that much with weapons, mony & intelligence, Iran would have had won the war within months.

It looks like most of Iran's airforce are Vietnam era US designed planes (F-14, F-4) and British (I think I saw a Tornado). Sadam used to hold these massive military parades too, and Iraq and Iran fought for eight years to a standstill back in the 80's. The US took down Iraq in month. Well, Carl Orff´s "O Fortuna" is not so bad, indeed, and possibly would also fit to this vid. But it is already used in too many videos so that I did not consider it for my vid. Besides, I rather prefer to use not too popular music - you can call it "extravagant", if you want. :-) And you should not care too much about other peoples taste in your vids, because it is YOUR vid after all and better should reflect your own individual tatse so that people can learn more about you.

Are you talking about the AWACS early warning plane? It is a Sovjet built ILJUSHIN IL-76 AEW that was in service with the Iranian Air Force since 1991.
In 1991 Gulf War two IL-76AEW fled from Iraq to Iran where they remained. Only one remained operational for transport purposes, as the AWACS systems on board were no longer operational.
Unfortunately this aircraft was destroyed in a mid-air collision with a F-5E Tiger II at the end of the annual military parade on 22 September 2009!

OK this just makes me laugh. The Iranian Air Force is still flying the U.S. F-14 which is obsolete in the U.S. and then they show another Obsolete Aircraft the F-4 Phantom. The F-16 is still used by many countries and the U.S. still has limited roles for them. The U.S. flies the F-22 and F-35. Our Stealth is still in use along with the B-52 with upgrades that will keep it flying up until the 2050. The missiles are great but Patriots are even better. They will put there S to S Missiles down

If Iran's military objectives is based on defensive tactics then those old weapons can be effective but if Iran thinks it can use those weapons against other countries...it won't work. Iran is much better at buying out foreign militants and causing instability against its adversaries. Most American officials believe that Iran is behind the sophisticated IEDs in Iraq and Israeli officials believe that Hezbollah would be nothing without Iranian support. In fact, they let non-Iranians die for them.

Missile technique is 100% indigenous (e.g. Shahab-3B and Sejil 1 & 2, and also the latest satellite sent to space, OMID.
Moreover, there is no Korean reactor in Iran, and some tanks are also Iranian made, e.g. the ZULFIQAR, RAAD, BORAQ, which are all in the video.

There was no need for Israeli help to Iraq because Iraq had much more weapons than Iran (more fighter planes and tanks). Iran was stronger than Iraq only regarding manpower, technicians & better trained pilots, but they were short of re-suply & spare parts for their western weapon systems due to sanctions. Therefore Israel, a former allie against Arabs, feared Iran will lose the war and decided to fill the gap by delivering spare parts. However, these deliveries were not decisive at all.

It looks like most of Iran's airforce are Vietnam era US designed planes (F-14, F-4) and British (I think I saw a Tornado). Sadam used to hold these massive military parades too, and Iraq and Iran fought for eight years to a standstill back in the 80's. The US took down Iraq in month. I really hope Iran's government isn't really looking for a fight, cause they won't win.

Regarding Iran, you can/will do absolutely NOTHING but trying to solve the dispute in a peaceful way.
You cannot afford to do anything but fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan and try to stabilize Iraq in order to win the war in these two countries you illegally had invaded. And even with these self-declared objectives you already are overstrained... You can ask Obama and his advisors. They will tell you quite the same, dude.

No worries man it's the truth. America would have never been able to get into Afghanistan if it wasn't for Iran. Iran stop i think, 2 or 3 tonne's of Opium on their boarder every day. They're on our side. They have lost 2,000 troops fighting the drug war that comes from Afghanistan. All Iran want is a little respect, they're pretty much saying, we're not a push over show us some respect cause we're stronger than that. Im going to be feeling sorry for Israel if they attack. Note fighter jets flying so close to eachother at the parade in the beginning of the vid: 2 to 3 close flying jets appear on (enemy) radar as only one plane thus suddenly surprising the enemy fighter jets obeserving them when coming closer ...
That's why flying at closest distance to eachother is an important part of the training of the Iranian pilots alongside with flying at very low altitude to avaid radar detection at all.

AND!! last time i checked we destroyed the Taliban in Afghanistan...what we are fighting now is called the Afghan Insurgency..and of course some of those people are remnants of the Taliban...the only place the Taliban exist is in Pakistan... and thats how alot of them get into Afghanistan...How do u call what is going on in Pakistan a USA failure?

Why don't you understand that USA were forced to sign the "Paris Peace Accords"? They had no alternative.
And as long as Taliban insurgents from the border area to Pakistan are able to fight a organised guerilla war against US troops in Afghanistan and as long as they are still able to sabotage US interests in Afghanistan, you do not have won the war. And another declared war objective of the US besides take full control of Afghanistan is to snatch Osama Bin Laden...

You claim that US has helped Iran in the begining of Iraq-Iran war that simply is not true. You even refuse to admit that USA officialy has lost the Vietnam war and that they don´t have the situation in weak Iraq under their full control until right now! the USA actually gave those missles you were talking about during the mid 80s. the USA didnt lose the vietnam war miltiarly..our soldiers achieved every objective and never lost a battle, our main objective was to bring peace..SO WE DID.. the communists begged for the Paris Peace Accords..and we signed them with them...these states that both the north and south must respect each others lines. and ALSO that the USA troops and allies must all leave..so we did..all usa troops were gone by the end

the end of 1972, the communists took over vietnam when no UN soldiers were present in 1975... this was not a USA lose. How do we not have it undercontrol?? USA deaths have not even supassed 16 in a month in the last year. and the elections went on without 1 single casualty..the iraqi military is capable of carrying on operations by itself..and there are very few attacks in iraq now....most of it has been concentrated into afghanistan....

However, regarding Afghanistan and Pakistan I do aggree with you. The thing is, that you can do nothing about it. Even double the troops Obama wants to re-supply there will not be enough to solve the problem. US will go on failing with their goals there like the Sovjets did, you betcha! No one ever has conquered Afghanistan so far but the ancient Persians,btw. ... :-)

LOL the problem with the soviets was...THEY invaded by air...they were unable to defeat the enemy at the begining..whereas we destroyed the taliban in afghanistan...and now the insurgency has started..much like it did in iraq...and it will stop much like it did in IRAQ...you can think about american failure as much as you want..but it wont happen :P

Yes, that certainly was one of the problems they had, especially with the "STINGER" Manpads the US supplied to them. Some of them finally emerged in Iran.
The other main problems the Sovjets had were
- underestimation of the Mudjaheddin freedom fighters fighting strenght
- a much more motivated and good organized enemy in defending position
- wrong tactics in combination with a complex chain of command
- unknown and uncontrollable mountainous terrain
- excessive demands from the home front

i agree with all of that...except the Mujhadeen got most of their strength because of being funded by the USA...same as the Vietncong and North Vietnamese in the Vietnam war...they were all heavily supplied by the soviets

NO, that certainly was not the MAIN reason for the Soviet fallback... but I can imagine that US history books and your teachers keep telling you that... as like they want to make you believe that you were not forced to went out of Vietnam, of course...! *LOL*
Btw.: The reasons I listed for the defeat of the Soviets are also some of the reasons why US troops will not be successful against the Taliban (+ Pakistan, of course, is also a factor).

I thought the only country to attack Iran was fellow Muslim country called Iraq, Israel on the other hand has been attacked numerous times and suffers terrorist attacks constantly. Funded in the main by Iran, Im sure Israelis are just as proud of their country, it is Iran that has threatened to wipe Israel off the map not the other way round. It is Iran that has threatened to launch an electromagnetic pulse or EMP attack on Israel.

The words of Ahmadinedjad regarding Israel have been translated wrongly. He never stated "Israel will be whiped of the map" by Iran. Other claims are nothing but propaganda.
And it is Israel who is preparing for a war against Iran, not the other way round... (according to the recent words of IDF chief in staff).

An article published in Iran's security journal Nashriyeh-e Siasi Nezami in 1999 identified an EMP attack as a way to defeat the US as a military power and as a state. Last year, Iran described a ship-launched test of its Shihab-3 missile in the Caspian Sea as "successful" in spite of the fact that like an EMP, the missile detonated in mid-launch.

... Israel does create most of its own weapons....such as the Merkerva..and all small arms weapons are all israeli made...they have an americanized air force however... Iran on the other hand got tons of weapons from the USA during the Iran-IRaq war...actually the 2 fighters that the Iranians have the most of are the f-4 and f-14...these are american made...the iranians dont produce that much of their own weapons..most of it is cold war era americn and soviet
