I can remember listening to this track at 8 years old and it changed my life forever! I became a musician because of it, that's how good this record actually is. It's probably one of the greatest all-time northern soul tunes ever written in my opinion! I've been hooked ever since.... What a vocal delivery. Lol

It turns out her real name is "Gardenia Barnes" - I have a 1 hr radio show ....all Northern Soul with explanations of the people the Interviewee Met .....Inc .Dena....
