The Kaaba was built upon with the permission and acceptance of God, which Abraham built, it was actually cleared of idols because Arab pagans used to worship there. The Kaaba gives us an exact direction of prayer, and what not, it's an important aspect. I suggest you go into depth of knowing the Kaaba first.
