Sooke is a great place to live, especially if you like the outdoors. We have great beaches, hiking, fishing all year round as well as wonderful parks and views of the Olympic Mountain Range and ocean.
It's still a very small community and you'd have to consider that you would need to drive into Langford (20 minutes) or Victoria (40 minutes) to do some shopping for things you cannot get in the area. For me, I like that. But I can see it might not be good for some.
