  • shot up you moth.f.cker.u r bliving pitty protheth..get of my sight..

  • Looks like wasp is the new stryper

  • hay mr blackie lawless that a great prayer im so happy for ya BROTHER IN JESUS CHRIST keep it up we will end up seeing each other one day brother

  • @1973nelly AMEN! There are so many coming to Christ that back in the day I thought never would. I am so happy :)

  • Blackie,if you see this I would like to ask DID YOU GO TO THE ISLAND WHERE THE SHOOTING OCCURED?Again, thank you for your prayer, this is wonderful.:)

  • Blackie has balls and a stainless-steel spine to stand up as a Christian in this day and age when so many are turning against Christianity. Very well done sir! So great to know you are on the winning team.

  • I have listened to Blackie since I was 11 years old, and was happy to find out that he is Christian. I would love to see Nikki Sixx become one also. I wonder if they ever talk anymore...Rock on, Blackie!!! My respect for you has quadrupled. Super talented entertainer. God bless, now just hit the gym bro.

  • That was very important moment, because I also believe in god ... I think many peoples have too serious opinions for about Blackie and Wasp band.

I thought that, "(Animal) Fuck Like A Beast" is love song... :P I love you Blackie!

  • So the man who made a career out of the numbers 666 is now a christian preacher man??????? I think it was brave and kind of him as he was playing the nearby town to where these horrible events took place, so as a man i think he is ok but as a rock star he just went right down in my estimation. Why do ALL Americans end up preaching christian bullshit in the end.

  • Why? Please tell me why? Religion is the source of every major war, conflict, genocide, etc, etc.

Love Blackie - hate the message

  • Blackie got balls of steel

  • the evangelical right wing movement is nothing more than racist movement hiding behind the cross!!!! man i never listen to wasp for their religious views, but man blakie is the epitome of Hypocrite christian.

  • wow, blackie you sing your songs for money ,just like a christian hypocrite, never practice what you preach!!!!

  • ROCK N ROLL BLACKIE.:)

  • For the record, "heavan hung in black" is a great tune, and I loved "Dominator", aside from a couple songs.

  • I think mentioning the song "I'm alive" is pertinant now. "Don't give me your

    "Save my soul" cure

I - I'm still alive, and I am soul survivor

    You can't understand, why

I - I'm still alive, and I am soul survivor

Damn your holy man - alive"

  • W.A.S.P. We Are Suddenly/Silly Preachers

  • Yeah, because every victim of the shotting believed in{truly} and worshipped the triniotarian evangelical christian god! Fuck you Blackie! This is a WASP concert..not a christian revival under a gospel tent. Chris Holmes and the others that helped you create those classic/shock/glam metal gems must be shitting bricks at what you'be turned WASP into in the last few records...a BLUNTLY evangelical christian metal outfit, what a hypocritical joke!

  • @Iconoclastithon Do you really think Blackie would actually care as to what Chris Holmes thinks?.I have been following Blackie's career since before w.a.s.p.This to me is no suprise. He has always held a belief in God.As he has got older it has got stronger because of his familllie's ties,to religion.W.a.s.p has always and will remain a rock n roll band.If the previous members did not screw up,they would still be apart of this.Blackie remains the free thinker, this is proof of it.

  • @laurel614 He should, Holmes and the others helped make WASP legends. Blackies belie fin God is not the issue, I think you have missed my point, re-read what I said. Belief in God, great, fine, I also believe in God{though from a deistic/pandeistic stance, not a revealed religion/theist one}. The fact that he is achristian aint the issue ether, blackies beliefs have always been known by the occiasonal song that expresed them, which is fine. But whole albums of hellfire & brimstone CONT...

  • @Iconoclastithon Hellfire & brimstone fundamentalist apocalypsism, imposing group prayers on whole crowds to show off his own self-righteousness{someone posted a relevant bible passage regarding this recently in these comments, look for it}. He coulda simply had a "moment of silence"[and everyone coulda meditated in memory of or even prayed to their respective gods qietly, Blackie included}- Blackies has joined Alice Cooper and Dave Mustaine in overt in your face fundamentalist hypocrisy CONT

  • @Iconoclastithon and have pretty much joined uip with the right wing christian ideologues that persecuted them in the 80's{and beforehand}. So again you totally missed my point, the issue is not his belief in a God nor even the fact that he is christian and comfoprtable saying so, it's about how far he's taking it..so far as to impose fundamentalist christian prayers on his audience at a secular concert to make himself "appear" so righteous before the bible tyrant{and other fundies too}, CONT..

  • @Iconoclastithon He's turning WASP into a blatant out and out, in your face evangelical christian band, like Styper or Bride or Neon Cross. Fine, then if he's gonna do so he should in honor of the men that founded the band with him and helped him make it legendary and of his non-christian fans he should stop this preachy evangelical ion your fgace bullshit or change his namje back to his birth name and change the name of his band.

  • @Iconoclastithon Sorry,i still can't agree with you.He has covered all this ground before on and off with his songs.I think he was very brave to come forward with the prayer and very respectful.I have no problem with it.I would not go as far as saying Christian Revival tent.To the list of names you mentioned Alice Cooper,Dave Mustaine, you can add Nikki Sixx.He has posted photos of himself on his facebook with a bible, altar and large crucifix.I do think you are going overboard with your comments.

  • @laurel614 Blackie has always been passionate about goings on in this world. He has offered to help a fan bury her father, drove across a few states to pick up some one he loved so they can see a show,he got there about 15 mins before the concert was due to start. He has cried for help,no one answered him.I think he is remarkable,i know he is no angel. There are those out there who "hate" him still.,for the past.He may of lost some fans, but he gained alot more with this.

  • With what you said in recent coment "abrahsamic religions".You DON'T know me well enough to judge me in that area.If anyone is slapping anyone in the face, that is you.He still has his original birth name. You have a lovely day and get on another soap box.

  • Futhermore, I still love the music and will always hold the pre-fundamentalist Blackie Lawless{LAWless..not "under the laws of some mythical sky-tyrant in a specific blashpemous and absurd revealed religion}. Blackie..go back to your original name or change it to something more apporporate dude, and change the name of the band..because though it's still msucially good.. CONT...

  • @Iconoclastithon CONTINUED.....it's not the same band anymore, it's not W.A.S.P. anymore, it's now "Steven Duren and the Fundamentalist Christian Evangelist bangers" ,"Glam for christ" or "Stryper" or somethin

  • ~sinking stomach~ Fuck! I just lost a shitload of respect for Blackie! I miss the freethinking shock rocker! I mean if he had just done a generic nonreligion specific theist prayer here that'd been bad enough, but to make it so obsiously eveangelical/fuyndy christian impose don entire audience???!!!?? Blackie.... WHY???? Even other metallers that share your faith don't do this unless they are specifically rock/metal bands. Sick to my stomach! sigh. :(

  • Blackie is a reactionary Christian, becoming both Christian and right-wing becaus of one act (9-11) that happened in his life. Fuck you, Blackie.

  • W.A.S.P. became a christian band. Sad.

  • Thanks Blackie, You touched my heart.

  • For me as a Norwegian, the most important was that he (Blackie) care and gave us this respct he show to us. And as he say, this is not a religion case and it s not about him, but a gesture to the audiens and the victims. Done his way:)

  • @1000varg He seems really cut up over that terrible tradegy. The same thing happened here in australia,a man went mad and shot and killed people who were tourists in a place called Port Arthur Tasmania.Australians have never forgotten that.I cried when i saw that on the news, those poor kids.It should of been a fun time for them. They will be forever young.

  • @1000varg Really, if that were true he would'n t have imposed a hardcore evangelical/fundy christian prayer, he woulda simply asked if the audience would mind a moment of silence to remenber the victims and perhaps pray quietly to whatever gods they{he included}believe in. I used to be an evangelical chriatin, I know how their midns work. This was a direct case of prosaltyzationa nd also of aliencation to his non-christian fans. it wa s slap in the face of everyone not of his faith.

  • LMAO! Its funny how the all the rockers that partied the most back in the day and went to rehab, came out spouting all this christian shit. I guess you need to replace one false crutch for the other. Whittie Lawful has been born again!

  • Now, whatever you might think about religion, i'm not an practicing christian, but I know that it is nothing like islam, and because it is nothing like islam, i respect it!

this was an act of respect.

    Well done Blackie.

  • @Lapinhaukka The abrahsamic religions are ALL ALIKE. You obviousoly no little to nothing about any of them. To defend right wighn evangelical christianity and yet demonize Islam..do somke actual objective research, they are of the exact same spirt and substance and their histories and their holy books prove it.

  • Who would have thought? Christ can change anyone! Praise God and thank you for your courage Blackie.

  • FUCK LIKE A BEAST OR GTFO!!!!

  • These are special moments.Thank you to whoever posted this.It has moved me.

  • @laurel614 Thanks:) It was a very special moment yes. As you see, my hand start shaking..

  • @1000varg I am really keen to hear his next cd,and the songs.I am hoping he does a song for those who died.We were shocked in australia. It reminded us of a massacare at Port Arthur. Not sure of how many who died there, simialiar circumstances. That man is locked up for life,he will never be released. In things like this,i know there is proberbly really no punishment to fit these crimes. The Killer's family lost him that day as well.Hugs to you and Blackie.:)

  • @1000varg I hope Blackie sees all the comments.Everytime i replay this to my facebook page, somebody always comes on thanking me for replaying it.I know some of his ex band mates will see it through my page, they have not left a comment yet-on my page that is.:)

  • i like it awesome i am so happy he has given his life to jesus so have i i love jesus
