There is a difference between stopping on a side walk when you are sitting in your car and leaving your car sit there while you are not in it..... to me parking is when you leave your car unattended.
I fucking hate that too. Out here, they hand out tickets for not having your lights on, for not having your seat belt on, for leaving your car for 5 bloody minutes (NOT on the sidewalk, but in a no-parking zone) with 4 flashers on, and yet they don't turn their lights on, they don't wear seat belts, they park (for way over 5 minutes) where ever the hell they want, they make u-turns where ever they choose (with no sirens on).
Fucking hypocrites. Citizens should be allowed to report them.
This is simple. You paid $27 dollars becasue you parked on the sidewalk. Now, if you want to make a habit of parking on the sidewalk without paying $27 dollars for it, get a badge. Seems to be the legal way around it! (I'm mocking the cop, not you)
