That's sick. Nice vid. I have an 02 av and put in a program proformance chip to get about 40 more hp and was looking to get one of these k&n 77series, but all the website say not cali legal? So no legal problem with this k&n?(how would they, the law know any way?)
if you live in the US every two years you bring your vehicle to a place where they check to make sure your vehicle is safe, and legal for your state. They check emisions,which is what comes out of your exaust and if you dont pass, you have to change it to make it legal or they will not let you drive your vehicle on the road legaly
yes, it will most likely pass if you keep the catalitic converters on, they look like rectangles on the exaust, if you want to buy an exaust,buy something called a cat-back exaust,which allos you to keep the catlitic converters
yea nice thing about this exhaust is even if you live in Cali. Ohio Florida, you can still pass emmisions inspections! thats due to the fact that we havent gutted the cat yet.
in Maryland you don't do inspections at all only when u first get the vehicle then thats it

man that exhaust sound is awesome,mine has an exhausts but i havent checked what brand it is,(barely got the truck 3days ago.,)

I have the same stuff on mine, but I gutted the cats and put simulators in. It sounds a lot beefier and it doesn't pop, I'll have a vid on here soon

it sounds nice to me but i dont like poping.
i got the k+n on my av to and it improved my gas milegage by like 1 but it was worth it

Ya the intake added anout 3mpg to his but it kinda cancelled out by the exhaust. The setup has given it another 30HP though!
