  • hey man great fight wus this exibition? or who won, either way great fight guys:D

  • This is kickboxing or k-1 not muay thai, they move in circles...

  • this is awesome amateur muay thai. great job you guys, good fight.

  • Very good from both fighters 6 minutes of fighting man i wouldnt last a minute

  • shane, you have made me a better fighter and made me approved so much. before i wuz 0-4 kick boxing, after i watch your techniques and your tips. you made me undefeated ever since.i love your videos thanks for makin me better fighter i really am. :D

  • i like your kicking but you need to put more body twisting into your punches. nice vid though.

  • nice fight, you got some good technique, i used to train and compete with koei-kan, but since i moved i havn't been able to, what style do you recommend i start on now? i'm considering either muay thai or brazilian jujitsu

  • I enjoyed the fight, you did well, and I could tell that your conditioning was pretty good in this match compared to your opponent's. I'm sure your way better now though considering this was a year ago :P

  • this ref is crap, too much clinch. I've seen more interesting sparring.

  • cheap fight

  • this is the best amateur fight iv seen for muay thai

  • good stuff. bet you guys felt indestructible with the padding. anyways, what was the scoring system since you had the safety gear? I imagine exhaust-en would occur before a K.O.

  • 0:55 great.

  • LOL looks like a wonder women costume

  • Very nice! Good fight, good conditioning! I have no problem with "so much padding", because of course you don´t want yourself to get hurt, but also you want to hit the other guy as hard as you can! Padding makes that possible! Check out my videos plz and add some comment!

  • Who is Shane and who is 'rob' in this fight?

  • I'm in the red headgear, rob has the yellow.

This is my favorite fight of mine, I think.

  • @FightTipsVideos how do u work on ur boxing, You've great hands props!

  • @FightTipsVideos

how long have you been doing muay thai?how old are you in this fight? How many injuries have you had so far?broken ribs/nose?how often do you train?have you been trained in a different martial art, too? Some wrestling?

  • @FightTipsVideos did you win

  • The reason why the kids in thailand had over 25 fight is because they need to bring food home to their families.

  • In the Netherlands we don't have that much padding... maybe something to consider would love to see some more competition on international level.

  • Even in Golden Gloves boxing and Amateur Olympic boxing bouts, they were headgear. So, I would think for an Amateur bout in Muay Thai, they'd at least have headgear and shin guards (though the chest plates are a bit much I think).

  • they wear*

  • @bloodsuckern thank you, but I didn't misspell 'they.' ;)

  • WTF does ' ;) mean

  • @bloodsuckern it's an emoticon.

  • good conditiong dude, wtf is with all the padding? That was the most pussy thing i've seen in fighting.

  • Whats with all the padding? Its a smoker if you trained at a mma gym you'd understand.

  • exhausting. Most people will never reach that level of tired.

  • That's why they say that if you want to win your fights in real life, get in shape. Just wait for the opponent to be exhausted, and finish him up.

  • I'm 15, and always been interested in Muay Thai kick boxing. Should I train in this fighting style? Does it help against bigger, stronger opponents?

  • stay in school

  • muay thai is one of the best martial arts, its very complete, but maybe you should watch videos of jiu jitsu because jiu jitsu helps small people to fight bigger people, thats because you use the weight of the opponent to submit him (excuse my bad english im not american).

  • until his friend runs in and kicks you in the head. Jiu jitsu is great for fighting so you know how to NOT go to ground and take advantage of their balance and grappling. Stiking is entirely necessary though.

  • I would think that more likely to be aikido (almost entirely based on using the momentum of the opponent). :)

  • start now or else one day when you are older you wil regret it . muay thai is one of the martial arts that is most effective. and size doesnt matter in a fight its techniqeu

  • thats my opinion

  • the top muay thai champs of the world fight 135lbs..... just saying. does it specialize in a manner that makes it for smaller users? no. BJJ is for that! but it compliments everything else u do..so take this and BJJ and ull be set

  • Yep, same as me, I also train kickboxing. But trust me, you don't want to take a knee in the gut without any protection. If you are a pro fighter you can take it, because you know how to avoid a lot of the damage plus you are very well conditioned. But in amateur fight protection for knees IS needed.

  • they use chest guard?? if so why? when we fight kickboxing and stuff we only use leg and head gear

  • And do you also knee each other full force in the gut with no protective gear?

  • no knees in kickboxing my friend.. but kicks and punches full contact

  • very nice young fighters...

  • damn good shit

  • good job bro great fight

  • which one is shane?

  • the one in full black with red headgear

  • Great fight Shane! You got stronger towards the end of the fight!

  • at least he showed a real fight with some compition in it not some bullshit 15 second KO

  • I wish i could find a place that taught muay thai.

  • i like the NEGATIVE comments from the tough guys

  • all right, I'm buying the plane ticket right now

  • odds are you arent over the age of 15, eat a dick you little shitbag. Stop acting tough over the internet

  • @FightTipsVideos

you were the winner here, werent you?if i am right, your hand was raised up.I liked this fight a lot! Liked both of you!

  • @FightTipsVideos yea man fuck that guy up in belfast i like to see that guy in the ring against u

  • @FightTipsVideos Nice combo 4:47. I alway do stomach punches. None you guys did alot of teeps. More teeps more teeps.

  • @50pimps you should have been a blowjob.

  • @50pimps nice profile name now we know your full of yourself

  • @50pimps fuck you

  • @50pimps Lol I bet your the toughest person out in Belfast huh? Yeah you're definitely not just another keyboard warrior are you?

  • tip to whoevers wearing the yellow headgear. it's not about strength or power. its all about technique, endurance and staying relaxed. orthodox fighters back leg was toooo stiff. i'd kill to have an opponent with that kind of a leg. i would smash it. but... i know how annoying smokers are. there's no movement. it feels like your in a blanket of fire and can't see shit. in this kind of game... knees just to the thigh. get your bout so you can fight without the gear and go pro.

  • Twas a good fight. Not pretty but what fight ever is

  • they grab each other then u hear "KNEE KNEE KNEE" no shit knee, thats the only thing they can do when they are holding each other like faggots.

no elbows allowed i guess? they dont seem very good, they need to kick higher and stronger.

    elbows and uppercuts

  • you're a punkass bitch

  • Do you even know what muay thai is? You fucking tool.

  • dude, they obviously not pro, but they looked pretty legit. i'd say they get some good training

  • Comment removed

  • good job dude

  • Boring :(

  • nice job dude. i can't wait to start training for muay thai in two months!

  • that dude in the yellow head gear looked stronger but the other guy picked his shots and landed them nicely

  • I fucking love muay thai. clinching and leg kicks are incredibly effective in fights with punk asses who like to "brawl".

  • Why was the loser guy trying so much to throw the winner? Not so much as "kick boxing" but some kind of wrestling or judo... no wonder he lost. LoL

  • Throws are legal in MT

  • Throws are no points, but a great offense in muay thai. No judo throws allowed though.

  • I'm pretty sure throws score points. If not, they break you down mentally and physically. Plus, the judges see one person on the ground, more than the other, it will surely aid in their decision. You can use the inside our outside of your leg to trip, and no hip tosses.

  • what is this, sanshou? no points for scoring

  • this is so crazy. I totally want to know more about this. Let's get a coffee some day soon, when your not fighting or walking a dog!

  • good job guys! lol imam u sound so excited before the fight

  • Thats my Brother, way to go Rob, good fight

  • beautiful Shane!

  • could not have picked a better opponent for my first fight :)

  • very good, close fight :)

  • I love the endurance. It's not even fighting to stay at the same level over the rounds, you increase by the third.

  • Damn Shane, you are fericous. Good fight.

  • who won? lol

saw shane's arm up at the end but :S was it held up second or did we miss rob :S :S

  • Yeah, Shane won

  • I'm (Shane) in red head gear, Rob's in yellow

  • Woot for first view :D

Great fight guys, but which one is Shane and which ones Rob? lol
