"Do not forsake the fellowship of the brethren." is not Hebrews 11:25. Hebrews 11:25 instead says: "choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin," (NKJV). Just happend to look it up and that's what it said. Life is probably perfect (kind of like her teeth) for this chick, so why wouldn't she dabble in nonsense? I'll bet she has a lot of spare time. Too bad she probably can't bowl, or something...
As a Christian I believe going to church is important for many reasons. One being socializing with people of like minds. It's true those you hang around you will become. Why lead ourselves into unnecessary temptation. I also think its important because of the message. I can already imagine the many sects (as if we don't have enough already) of Christianity we would have if things were left for everyone's interpretation. Not everyone is at the same level of understanding.
All churches came from the Catholic church. Accountability comes from Papal authority, which not only teaches the word of God, but is itself God's living voice. "And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Matthew 16: 18-19
i can tell u that ive been verrry, verry disappointed in church-people...wat could i say i dont beleive that going to a church religiously is wat u HAVE to do. if u can find a church that u feel comfortable in then great but..in my experience ive been more "christian" than church people...

Okay, I'm sorry you've felt marginalized by the church. Perhaps you are going to a church that doesn't meet your need. Check out some other churches that teach the bible and you flow with.
As far as low faith, three things have saved my life: the bible, prayer, worship! Look forward to more conversations :)
Also what can you do when your faith is low? when it seems that all the time its just one massive test! i mean i do pray for things to get better and i do pray for others and i do ask the Lord for help but sometimes it just seems that He doesnt answer me, and i really dont wanna come across as ' ohhh have pity on me' just explaining thats how i feel.
I dont really like to go to church because i just get people asking me ' and where are you with God' as if its some sort of cult and there are different levels to be on if that makes sense? Ive just been dissapointed time and time again by going to church and finding that there is no real love there, just people looking down on others if they dont have a close relationship with the Lord, i just do my best to serve Him but thats all i put into my faith at the moment if im honest!

I don't go to church because I am just not a morning person. Also, I'm an atheist but that's really unrelated to the morning person thing.
