i dunno how to explain it but right after coming into the land where they were over the ground they should have been on a lower altitude, after the first ever exit/entrance to the runway which you could see in this vid, the captain should have made the landing because thats how it normally is however even though the captain was close to the ground, he came in TOO fast which is why the plane did not touch down and it was able to touch down after the second exit of the runway...thats late lol

first of all no need to get rude...second of all that landing was LATE because i am studying aviation too so i think i would know!! im not sayin what he did was dangerous it was just late which caused him to really put pressure on brakes! no need to get pissed! :s

so a late touchdown! Your point is??? put pressure on the brakes? That's the whole purpose of brakes, to make you stop so there is going to be pressure in the first place!

you idiotttt the point of landing early and not havin a late touch down is to not put soo much pressure on the brakes so that you would have a comfortable landing which would be the best for both the aircraft,the passangers, the airline etc...learn your shit then try to argue with me!! thats why you have soft landing,hard landing because the later you land the worse it is for passangers and the health of the aircraft and it would cause hard landing!

yes but only if this happens every time the plane lands!And heavy braking does not occur often and on these vid he just passed the touchdown zone so heavy braking was not necessary here! but you don't know Larnaca airport cause you never been there,that's why you think that's a very late landing! p.s. don't call idiotttt again,ok?

let me make it clear to you that there are hundreds travelling through larnaca then crossing over to north because the flight hours add up being 2 hours shorter because of non stop flights...when ever i go cyprus you cant imagine the amount of greek cypriots travelling with cyprus turkish airlines through ercan then crossing over to nicossia to the southern side...yes our airport is Ercan but no need to say it like we are soooooo differen then you...im proud of that airport! eg: 2 runways lol

It looked like the pilot wanted to get the plane level for landing which would have needed a further travel down the runway just to make sure you are horizontal. Or he could have just landed normally but with a bit more of a bump.
