Just surfing and ran across this. I am sitting here FIGHTING back the tears. This song reminds me of my Mother and my best friend Cliff. I never got a chance to say goodbye to them because they both died sooo suddenly. I truly miss them so much!!! But this song has a great element of truth... We Will Meet Again and I can shower them with all of the hugs and kisses that I have been saving up all these years..R.I.P. Mom and Cliff! I Miss You Deeply!

I remember hearing her angelic, strong, sultry vocals with Tears For Fears "Woman in Chains" song and I was blown away by the power of her voice. Then she came out with "Get Here" and I was too done. Talk about an underated vocalist to come out of the 90's!! I have always been a lover of women singers who have that deep throaty sound like Annie Lennox, Anita Baker, Desiree, Sade,.. voices that cut to your soul, like deep poetry. I had (and still do) Oleta on heavy rotation at my house!!

Simply Awesome!!! I remember her second CD coming out, and i was there at the store that day. I took it home, put it on and grabbed a glass of wine, sat my chair in my doorway and listened.
