I'm not sure about him... :) In fact, I think singing Mozart is most hard. For me, it is harder than Puccini's arias! Just because he's so classical and you have to sound so clear, like clear water. I'm still coping with this aria.
I know someone who it took them 20 years to master an arai called Depuis Le Jour, now that she does it, it's amazing! :) I like Bald Prangt from the Magic Flute. :) And Bie Mannern but I hardly ever sing that.
Thanks. I believe you can get this aria's notes in every music-shop or library in your local area. I recommend though "Arias for Soprano - Compiled and Edited by Robert L. Larsen" - G. Schirmer Opera Anthology. You'll find there this aria and a lot more.
One other thing. Mozart expected his mezzo's to be perfect in everything, because he truly was perfect in everything. He focused much of his music on the mezzo's because they could convey a message no other voice could. This will of course take time to perfect, as you well know, but this opera especially is one of utmost perfection and importance. It is only one of 2 operas in all of music history that has been continually playing for nearly 220 years, since it's opening in 1791. Great job!
Thanks for the encouraging and constructive comment. I treat your comment very seriously and will try to do my best with all arias by this great composer, that I hope to learn in future.
Absolutely loved it. Just one thing, remember that you are singing music from the best composer that ever lived. Live it, breathe it, and feel it coming out of your soul when you open your mouth to sing!! Keep up the great, great work that you are doing!!!!!
Schönes video, wie in teater, wie in märchenteater!

You've got a spectacular voice. Just two things I noticed...:
1) you seemed rushed (the pacing seemed too fast
2) there was no dynamics in your piece; it all sounded as though it was the same volume throughout.
But these are obviously SMALL things in contrast to how fantastic your tone is. :)

Thanks so much for this comment. I think you are right, espec. concerning the dynamics.

It's tough to get the right placement in this song and I though you did a beautiful job doing just that.
