haha this is an awesome video.

al gore is a hypocrite for ignoring the fact the raising animals for food has such a negative impact on the environment.

it is obvious that going vegetarian is one of the most affective ways to reduce greenhouse gases and reduce our water consumption. definately a very cheap way to help our environment.

Going vegetarian isn't enough because eggs and dairy are still part of the meat productions system. You can't have lactating cows without the artificial insemination and the resulting veal calves. The dairy cows still fart and pbelch and pollute. Chickens will still be bred in massive numbers, with the males being killed so long as there's a demand for eggs.

@SaganAppreciationSoc yes you're right, going vegetarian isn't enough. a demand for dairy and eggs also means a demand in cattle and chickens. becoming a vegan society is what needs to happen in order to get rid of factory farm pollution and cruelty.

I deeply respect Al Gore, Bill McKibben, James Hansen and the others trying to awake us. They represent the nicest side of the USA.
