  • Good job my friend. I love the battle damage. Thank you for staying true. One thing, the bridge appeared to be in complete order. Remember how the bridge ACTUALLY was? FUCKED up! LOL! Thanks for this video. It is getting shared on FB with my friends.

  • "Gentlemen, when this is over I'll recommend you all for commendation...in whatever fleet we end up serving."

  • Dig-dug was a nice touch.

  • 4:38 The Excelsior captain uses his chest communicator to talk ship to ship? Good video though.

  • @BricktownBubba Good eye! Yes that's one of those 'limitations of EF' moments, turns out there is no good emote that mimicked flipping a switch on the chair arm, so I improvised.

  • I liked you "JJ-fied" Excelsior concept, although I missed some things from the original version. 1 The close up of the nacelles just making through the opening doors. "Good Morning Captain" (A reference to "Captain Kangaroo" which I think was still on then and the Excelsior chugging to a stop sounding like Mel Blanc doing Jack Benny's "Maxwell" from radio.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 Check out the credits, its not my Excelsior I just drove it for the shots. ;)

The nacelles just making it through the door would have been nice but the spacedock model was actually so large that the doors were 3 to 4 times the width of the Enterprise when open, since the model doesn't have animate doors in space, only for the ground map used to show them alone, I had to use forced perspective tricks to make the doors look smaller in space, eliminating the ability to do closeups.

  • I love it... Absolutely love it... 5/5^* Rating :D

  • Wrong Enterprise

  • @kurtb8474 Read the description. *roll eyes*

  • i would love to know how long it takes to build a spacedock.

  • This was really cool. You could have used the EF2 bots, but that is just nitpicking. Thanks for the upload. ;)

  • @Blackrook32 I would have, for that reason, preferred to work in EF-II, but the maps and resources I needed weren't available in EF-II, and alas I had no success porting character models to EF-I :(

  • @LtCmdrKent :I understand, I can appreciate the effort in even editing this vid. As for EF 1&2, I've played around with both textures and the sets privately. But, I focused on making custom character textures and uniforms for the EF2 bots. You can check them out on my channel. Still, the use of the materials you had, made for a cool video. :)

  • Love it!!

  • not bad, not bad at all, and the cheesy music was the music from the game dig dug, nice touch

  • @mearp69 You know what they say; 'aint no bit like 8-bit'

  • shit graphics, poor quality, But great music, James Horner can make backing out of a garage with the worst possible graphics and build quality so exiting!

  • @CaptainJahangir99 well when you can find a way to re-create this scene with graphics *you* (an obvious expert) consider up to par... let me know. ;)

Heck let me know if you are even capable of recreating it at all.

  • Another great Star Trek clip!

  • Dig Dug!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant made!

    I love it!

  • -Warning! Secure space doors! Warning! Secure space doors! Warning! Secure space doors!- *Nobody is in the space door control room* No wonder they got away. :3

  • What a beautiful re-envisioning. Well done!

  • very good job on this

  • Like the JJ Abrams inspired refit and Excelsior. Good work

  • "How about a nice game of chess?"

  • Great Job!

  • what star trek game is that ???

  • @htrfhy Actually, its two :) I used Bridge Commander for the space shots, and Elite Force for the interiors/actors.

  • Shall we play a game?

    Scotty: Tee-hee.

  • AWESOME Job!!!! I really would love to see a redo of that classic scene where Kahn gets his revenge !!!

  • Love the vid, only problem is, in the re-imagined (non prime universe) these events would not happen since Vulcan is gone, Spock could not be taken back there to have his kottra put back in his body. The vid itself if well done though!

  • @gfedtyhfs

Actually if you want to bring that up we know Starfleet set up a temporal headquarters in the 29th century that is outside of normal space-time. Since all that matters is that the original time lasted long enough to establish the headquarters (time isn't actually linear anyway so even progression to foundation is sort of moot) you can expect the timeline to be fixed unless they are only monitoring the main time and not off-shoots but that is an entirely different convo.

  • @gfedtyhfs Maybe there is a Vulcan 2 by then. hey have to resettle somewhere.

  • Dig Dug FOR THE WIN!!!!!

  • hahahah

    awesome dude.

  • prtty frikkin neato. loved the wargames at the end. only thing i DIDNT like was the horrible redesign of the excelsior. i dont mind re dos.. but that design kinda blew.

    still...nice work sir.

  • It orders you to immediately surrender this wessel

1:27 Captain plays runescape 2376 edition

  • @StelarCF Haha!! I bet jagex still hasn't done much for the graphics.

I wonder what an MMO on a holodeck would be like.....

  • @StelarCF I love the Greetings, Captain, shall we play a game and showed Dig Dug!! That was absolutely priceless! :)

  • It orders you to immediately surrender this wessel

  • dats so funny!

  • Looks like Bridge commander with no mods :)

  • @kanharn I probably have one of the most modded Bridge Commander installs in existence. :)

  • oh what a grewat ending!!!!!!!!!!!! awsome!!!

  • Great job... Some of the shots were right on.

  • The bridge design almost looks like an Excelsior class ship and the exterior design looks like the refit Enterprise only with the new ship's nacelles.

  • The bridge design almost looks like an Excelsior class ship.

  • love the comp Malfuntion but Excelsior's body is too small for it

  • stupid question: is this bridge model based off of the one from the recent movie??

  • I really dig the Abramsverse-style Connie refit. The Excelsior looks good, too, along with everything else. Great job!

  • @Ironicicle1990 i agree. although i'm missing the green light thing on the legs of the captain's chair of the excelsior. i thought it was cool.

  • A lot of the drama is missing, without James Doohan's(Scotty) reaction...you see the look on his face and believe they are going to die!

  • superbly impressed with this one man! 10/10

  • That was funny, I'm impressed. Also kudos to Baz1701 for the kick-ass JJprise refit. I would like the refit to look like that, or at least have a model of it like that.

  • WOW all i can say is WOW, that was done so magnificently,, i laughed i cried, laughed some more, bravo, one of the coolest star trek homages ive ever seen ;)

  • "Shall we play a game?"

    EPIC OWNAGE!!!

  • @joshyboy1983 The only winning move is not to play.

  • Wow Elite Forces graphics haven't aged well. Great vid by the way.

  • Amazing video! Well done!

  • I'm impressed with this.

It's cool that Baz1701 adapted the Andy Probert refit Enterprise to the Ryan Church hot rod.

  • I love the part where the Excelsior's helm computer actually speaks "Greetings. Shall we play a game?" and then plays cheesy music. :-D

The computer in the actual movie only wrote out some text. I think it said "good morning Captain".

  • @theatomiclightbulb

Yep, I wanted to take it a step further and make it a double tribute to 'Wargames' and 'Dig-dug'.

  • The break down in this vid was epic

  • You know, if Leonard Nimoy saw this i think he would be quite impressed with it

  • NICE! 5 Stars!

  • and the excelsior also man hard core 5 stars

  • i say to you this not bad

  • what program did you use for the people?

  • Elite Force (The original not the second one)

    Running the RPG-X mod.

  • if thats what the prime timeline refit of the ship is gonna look like i cannot wait

  • Fantastic work here! I love it! :D

  • Very good, glad to see them getting some use.
