Wow - their voices are amazing instruments - always need to be kept healthy and in shape. I just watched the youtube of David at a sold out concert in Dallas yesterday singing "My Kind of Perfect" at the piano - it was amazing. Then today he sang "Heaven" acapella for a private group - well worth watching!

David had a free concert here in the Phil. more than a week ago and returned to freezing climate, no wonder his voice took the toll. anyway the duet is great .

@jayrx300 I believe he was sick. He just came fresh from a tour in the Philippines. I'd think that the transition from the extreme tropical weather of the PI to the sudden cold temperatures of L.A. may have helped with that.

awwwwwwww poor David!its ok you are still the best singer I know. We are so used to hearing him sing perfectly that this was rare but he is human and can make mistakea. Don't underestamate David just because of this performance. Maybe it was the cold,touring or feeliing a little intimitated by Charice! You are still the best David:)

I think Jordin Sparks' duet with David on No Air was as good as this one. Two power house. David will be on PBS, TV to sing a duet with Orla Fallon, one of Celtic Women near Thanksgiving Day. I already downloaded the duet on iTunes. It's a beautiful, tender and soft duet. David didn't need to use his power house to make a beautiful harmony with Orla. Check your local TV schedule.

machielle- If you knew anything about David and have attended his live performances and/or have seen him on TV or any other events, you would know the nervousness he may be feeling when performing NEVER ever shows in the outcome. In fact, it makes him that much better. Any David fan would know this. It is unfortunate that he is judged on this one performance. As good as his other two songs were, when I listened back, I knew he was not feeling well.

Puhleez. David is obviously sick here. This is a RARE occasion that he did not hit every note. Watch any of his live performances and you will see that he is 99.9% of the time right on the money.

David was definately not himself tonight. He was probably not feeling great since just came off a weeks tour in Asia, Indiana last night and LA tonight in the freezing cold. I was there and although this last song was not perfect, he sounded great when he sang his other two songs. 99% of the time, his voice is dead on so give him a break for goodness sakes. He's one of the best artists singing live that's come along in the past two decades. You go David!
