He might have used steroids to gain weight, but i don´t really think he gained that much punching power. Sure there is an effect up to 15-20%, but you instantly loose much of it when you stop using. Punching power is depending more on balance and stumach muscles than anything else. Fast gained muscles slows you down - thats a well known fact.
He´s a great fighter and probably the only one that could beat Floyd, but he´s still a dumbo for not taking the test before the fight, whatever his reasons

De La Hoya's punches weren't even landing counting as missing lowering his hit percentage where as Mayweather's punches would hit. It took him 10 rounds to knock out Hatton because he was undefeated at the time and wanted to keep it that way makes sense?

@junyaB -Margarito is bigger and strong, but Pac will still fight him. it took Floyd 10 rounds to beat Hatton when it took Pac only 2. De La Hoya looked good against Floyd and many thought that Oscar won, including Mayweather sr, but they were giving Floyd whole rounds off of landing just one or two shots. Pac destroyed him. Cotto is one of the best out right now and Floyd wont even fight him, but Pac did and he knocked him out. Floyd fans are blind to the truth. stop being a damn fan of Floyd.
