  • @dheerajrao: how much did the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS cost you? video and sound quality is gr8 on all ur vids !

  • @swapcst It cost me around 30000INR when I bought it.

  • great video will be looking @ the Canon PS SX20IS

  • @KahunaQwest It is not in production now. Only the SX40 is available.

  • Can you please tell me what camera model that you used to shoot this?

  • @click2senthil Canon PowerShot SX20 IS.

  • Awesome chugging

  • Are there dining cars on trains like this one?

  • @GeorgeW6 No. Only some prestigious trains like, say, the Deccan Queen have it. These are just normal Express services. :)

  • @GeorgeW6 there aren't any dining cars on these trains.. very few, special tourist trains have it.... but food is available on the train

  • Sad to see all the folks pose in front of an oncoming train as if someone is going to offer these people a modelling contract on the spot.

  • your welcme dheerajrao

  • Wat a Horn tat was & Nice vid!!

  • @kevinarts thanks!

  • nice video !!

  • @freakingbonnetli thanks!

  • super show by WDM2A ! this video shows how much this seemingly simple 2600 HP ALCO beast can achieve ! liked the honking too..

  • @avinashi07 Thanks :D Yeah..it looked furious!

  • @dheerajrao hey which was the both train and what was the location.

  • @Ajay25ism Read the description.

  • Why are there bars on the windows ? What happens if there's a crash ?

  • @peterpocasset Well there are 4 emergency exits for each coach. But the reason for the bars is that if there r no bars, ppl here will lean out or something :D The Railways is now developing a new design for the windows which will be safer than the present one.

  • @dheerajrao why are the AC coaches between the sleeper coaches? I have seen this system in okha-Guwahati Dwarka express too. this not looks good.

  • @Ajay25ism I have no idea about that.

  • @Ajay25ism In most of the stations, all the facilities like stalls etc are located in the middle of the platform and not at the ends.. so it is appropriate to place the AC coaches in the middle of the train, so the high paying travellers get the facilities quickly.. but in many trains AC coaches are placed at either end of the train, so when u get down on the platform to buy something, u have to rush to the middle of the platform to hunt for the stalls..

  • Its The Haripriya Exp from HYB/TPTY !

  • thats a WDM3D NOT a WDM3a ---however very nice video with great sound, excellent !

  • Sorry to disappoint you, but it is NOT a WDM3D. Even I am wrong, for that matter. This is a WDM2A :) We'd seen this same loco with the 1027 Chennai Mail when we were going to Pune two days before this video was taken. Thanks for the compliments, anyway.:P

  • nice capture!!!

  • thnx!

  • fantabulous crossing.....those ppl on the tracks would have been dead meat if they would have stood on the track a second longer than that!!!....gr8 video again bro...

  • :-)

  • superb honking by rebuilt!!

  • Yeah!

  • Congratulations on the Excellent capture

  • Dad says thanks! :D

  • ALCos Rock!!!!!...Shame on IR for not developing it to its full extent....

  • Yeah...but they are already thinking of bringing new WDP6 class locos based on 6000hp GM -EMDs from USA.. :D

  • @dheerajrao the 6000 H.P loco will again be a 4 stroke engine like the ALCo and not 2 stroke like the WDP/G4....So ALCo had it right first time out of the box....

  • Yes but they will be based on GM locos, or even locos from other countries(!!), according to their presentation.. :D But a 600hp diesel loco would be awesome, whether 4 or 2 stroke! :D

  • Buddy, I mean that in creating a loco using 4 stroke, ALCo got it right straight out of the box.....GM spent (and earned) a lot of money on the 2 strokes only to realise that 4 strokes were more efficient and therefore better for higher HP applications....

  • Which train was it? and which station?

  • Station was 'Pachhapur'. no idea about train.....it was too fast..Could only make out something written in Kannada so it's a train from K'taka :D

  • @dheerajrao -Its The Haripriya Exp from HYB/TPTY !

  • @wdp41 How did u recognise it? :O

  • speedy show

  • Mighty WDM !!!

  • My pleasure! :)

Thank you for the compliments! :D
