  • fuckin good . i wish i have good hands like yoursss !!

  • Wow man, I can totally see your future in music. Keep doing what you're doing and don't let anyone discourage you. I can see you as the one of the world's future shredders along with Takayoshi Ohmura, Syu, etc.

  • Sick playing man. Your tone is absolutely incredible as well. I think you have a pretty unique sense of phrasing. Also, great to see I'm not the only one that uses Sonar X1, haha. Cheers!

  • awesome, man. Love watching you play.

  • Is that Overloud? If so, would you send me the preset? :-D

  • Wow, smokin'! Guys like you are the reason I don't enter those challenges! LOL Seriously Eric that was great... the sweep/economy picking starting at ~:55 was jaw dropping

  • @PDXguitarfreak Thanks Dave! I really appreciate you supporting me through my years on YouTube and being one of my first friends on here. Oh and congrats on the 10k subs my friend! You deserve it!

  • nice job Eric, great AOR rock guitar tone.

  • @lauriemonk Thank you Laurie! I appreciate it buddy. Now, where is Shred This 4?! :-) hahaha.

  • Great one Eric! Love the Steve Vai influence, you rawk! yes btw you are correct, I will be at Berklee in the fall :)

  • @ivyparkguitar Thanks Ivy! Yes, Mr Vai is my hero ;P And congrats on the Berklee thing! I am hoping to get into MI next year :)

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic Vai is fantastic indeedy, even have a poster hanging on my wall. Thanks for the congrats! and MI next year sounds awesome! I'm sure you'll do great there, you most definately will!

  • Mixing soaring Melody with some razor-sharp Shred-tastic Licks is not easy to pull off, but you nailed it! I love how you build up to these insane crescendos, then just let the Melody take control, again! You are a MASTER, and I jut love watching you do your thing, Brother! Thumbs WAY Up, here!!!

  • @312chicagoadam Thank you so much Adam! I always enjoy your comments and feedback. I appreciate your support a lot! Can't wait to see your entry :)

  • @Darkvinx88 Thanks Vincenzo! :) I haven't recorded with your method yet but I am experimenting still :) I am going to try it with a Carvin Legacy head very soon and use Recabinet :)

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic youre welcome :) well recabinet sounds more digital then red wirez's ones IMO..i think you will love the bogner ubercab impulses with your legacy head ahah..PM me if you need RedWirez

  • Dude I'm finding every video you post to be like that one solo that you can't stop listening to that inspires you so much. Yeah thank you. Keep them coming.

  • @Pieman317 Thank you so much, that means a lot. Thanks for the great comment & for watching :-)

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic Just my opinion, but I liked it up until about 35 seconds. The into was the best part for me. Shredding is cool, but I think when you slow it down you get more emotion into the music. Just a thought I had when watching this

  • @nmarkworth11 Well man, it is a guitar contest :-) But thanks for watching & for giving me your opinion. :)

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic For me the introduction of shredding after the series of melodies, and then resolving it back to a melody, has a greater impact than no shredding, you did both things perfectly in context with each other ;-)

  • @MyxHarnett Thanks Matt, I agree ;-) hahaha. Can't wait to see your entry! :)

  • Great stuff as usual, extremely smooth!

  • More of those super tasty licks Eric! So smooth and effortless Boss...always a treat to see man!! Glad you entered!

    Best of luck my friend!!
