This is a good start, but you guys really have to hit back hard on the anti-marriage equality lies. As a California resident, I learned these so-called "compassionate conservatives" have no problem lying, distorting, attacking, and fearmongering. No on 8 focused on vague statements about equality and fairness and it didn't work. Please, please, please - FIGHT BACK!
"It's ridiculous" is good, but should have been followed by, "schools and religion have nothing to do with question 1; question 1 is about PRESERVING a law that has already been passed in our state, ensuring that same-sex couples and parents have the right to marry in Maine. It's a fairness issue for children and families. The law also allows for churches to deny requests for same-sex weddings. That won't change."
It's not specific enough. It is absolutely necessarily to directly strike down their arguments by saying that it will NOT be taught in schools. I live in CA and I did not once learn about marriage in school and did not learn about sex ed until 8th grade. Counter their "gay sex ed in kindergarten" B.S.
I for allowing gays to marry but this video is full of nonsense propaganda. "Maine values" "Outsiders" LOL

Vote NO on 1. Gay couples and their children deserve the exact rights heterosexauls have.

The line "that's ridiculous" is great. But it comes halfway into the ad! You have to listen for 30 seconds before it really gets to the good part.
