I lived through this with my ex boyfriend who i lived with for 5 yrs. We had to go to the Comfort Inn in Forsyth because a tree limb trashed through our mobile home and put a hole in the roof. This is chilling to see even now Im in the desert.

I remember looking out my window and watching ice form on the tree branch outside of my window. When the ice cracked and fell off of the trees during the night, it sounded like gun shots. Scary stuff. Went outside the next morning and it looked like an ice jungle in the front yard.

i hated that ice storm i was without electricity for 11 days straight and the only heat source was my gas stove.
