  • I had this done 3 years ago. watching this I'm not surprised that i felt as bad as i did when I came around 6 hours later but.....even though there are some side affects that will stay with me forever....for the result ...and i guess I've been lucky....I would do it again...no doubt...girls, listen to me...it IS worth it.

  • sloppy suturing, she looked way better before now she doesnt look very good

  • Unfortunately I had this surgery and my blood supply didn't get to the tissue and it went necrotic. this was very gross then I had to have a latismus dorsi surgery which is still not finished and the started on Feb. 22/11. If I had to have to do all over again I would just have my breasts removed.

  • scuse me but i have no idea what is going on, what is going on

  • amazing, i had this done 17 yrs ago !! painful but better than a fake something in ur body. scars are very faint to invisable after about the 5th yr.

  • If your body is right for this procedure, I recommend doing it. I didn't want to have an implant so I chose the tram flap after my mastectomy. Painful, yes. Scars, yes. But, having my own tissue used as opposed to an implant was my preference. It's now been 4 years and I'm doing very well! And I do consider it a tummy tuck. I haven't had this flat a belly since my 20's. The flat tummy made me want to look better so I also lost 30 lbs. I think this was "life changing" in a positive way.

  • I've taken care of a few patients who have had this procedure. I think it's a wonderful means of reconstruction after mastectomy! Congratulations to all who have had it and are doing well!

  • Thank you for this video. I will have this procedure very soon (waiting for my surgery date) and even though I know it will be very very painful, I look forward to this part of my journey to get back to my life.

  • five and a half, wow your tooo slow :)))

  • I had this done one month ago today, and I am very pleased with the results!

  • what happened to her left tit?

  • Comment removed

  • @Viruspirate She had a mastectomy. They even remove the nipple because it's associated with milk delivery and is at risk for cancer, too.

  • I had mine done about 5-6 years ago and I couldn't be happier. It looks so real and feels real. It'll look weird after you get done and it involves alot of drainage tubes but it's well worth it after the healing is done. And what could be better than having a tummy tuck at the same time?!? Good luck, I hope you're as pleased with the results as I am.

  • im due this done next week any good results out there

  • @maestrocheif - Me too. It worries me that everyone thinks it is a tummy tuck procedure when it's not. I would never do this again.I have developed hernias from the mesh as there was a recall on them -you may want to check your post op records for the mesh which was used and make sure there is not a recall.

  • @KissingFrenzy

SERIOUSLY???? I HAD TRAM FOR BILATERAL RECON IN 06.......BULGE AND PAIN.... THE "WORKS" ARE SLOW TOO......IT FIGURES

  • @meawaleed You are absolutely correct. I have had this done, and now wish I had opted for the expanders.

  • @meawaleed This is not a tummy tuck as this is much more involved. They have left some important things out in this video.

  • @TREFIVE No.

  • @TREFIVE The breast size will not increase unless she gains weight, however she can forget about doing regular sit ups as they cut and transferred the rectus muscle.

  • she's flat

  • @blackhawk122ss The post op pics are no indication of what a person truly looks like after they have fully recovered.

  • Does that leave scars?

  • @huyup123456 Yes, it leaves a huge scar from hip bone to hip bone

  • @huyup123456

Yes depending on the expertise of the surgeon I am scared to death!!!!

  • Each person has their own reasons for their choices. Some have no choice. My double removal/reconstruction tram flap was because I could not have implants due to prior radiation damaging my tissue. This is MAJOR surgery and recovery. Now I have no worry about implant replacement 5 or 10 years later... It had to be done and now I'm CANCER-FREE. Just be sure your surgeon is not new at this....KC

  • thank you for this video i am a 27 year old who has had bilatteral mastectomies and had silicone implants at age 23. i opted not to have a tram back then because i wanted childeren, now i am done with childeren and need to look at either replacing my implants in the furture or doing a tram bilatterally if i even have enough for both sides. any suggestions?

  • @802amanda Hi

I don't recommend this.Email me if you have more questions.

  • sloppy suturing!

  • buag :S :S:SS:S:S:S::SSS:S:S:S:S aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! mierda mierda !!!! aaaaaaaaaa!!!

  • I may be having this done sometime after my 16th birthday. does it really hurt afterward? it looks incredibly painful =[ should i just opt for a normal silicone implant or is this surgery better?

  • this is for woman having ungergone mastectomy (surgery that "removes" breast) for cancer .u probably just want augmentation of ur breast as u r unlikely to have undergone mastectomy b4 the age of 16.

  • yeah i know but the basics are still the same. im getting the fat taken out of my belly and used to make a new boob. i only have one at the mo so its as if ive had a masectomy anyway. it just didnt grow =/

  • u then have a valid reason for undergoing the surgery. People often undergo breast enhancement operations at young age even they have a normal breast .but amastia (absence of breast) is certainly an indication of the operation. It is a rare condition. I have just seen 4 or 5 cases so far.the patients had other abnormalities as well.

  • u are more likely to have amazia(nipple present breast tissue absent) then amastia .

  • @youareannoyinmenow Tis is not a tummy tuck and whatever you do -get the implants.

  • i am home now healing from mine. I lost both breast to cancer in 2007.

  • So what happen? She lost her right breast?

  • I had this done so I just had to watch it. Amazing how they do that, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
