Thank you for this video. I had massive problems matching too. It worked much better in Papers 1. More than that, there's no easy way to edit mismatched data. Just resetting an entry doesn't work. After one day, my Papers 2 library became corrupted. I tried to repair it, but lo and behold! Where there was once such an option in P1, now there's none... Could go on with this forever. P2 is still a big failure.
Hey, I can absolutely agree! The "new" search is horrible. I don't understand why they changed it. Its was perfect in papers 1 with the ability to sort the results easy, look for specific authors, years and so on. Also the new search results are taking twice the amount of space by providing the same information in a much mor unorganised way. I am really disappointed... papers 1 was such an awesome program!
Hello! We have made a lot of changes to the matching function. Match in Papers2 looks completely different from what it looked like at the release and in this video. These issues have now been resolved. Hope you are enjoying Papers!
I am seeing this as well. However, if you move the mouse to the righthand side of the Paper2 window, the mouse changes to the icon for resizing, which if you chick on the edge the side panel reappears.

The idea is good but the implementation is horrible. Basically nothing is working. A lot of bugs and the application keeps crashing my iMac...
