Americans could of stopped the goverement by voting the ones out of there.It is harder than it seems, but its more popwer than most people. I am not blind, but US has more freedom and the goverment provides more than most countires. I know, I heard first hand accounts of what it was like under the USSR. Try living under a goverment that does absoulty NOTHING for their people.

When you compare the US today to the US Constitution then you get a very different picture. Try knowing what liberty once was and see what it is today. Then you will know how I feel. We have the power to threaten possisions by with holding votes from canadates. The US has changed for the better, with women's suffrage, civil rights, workers rights, and many others. If you aren't content, then speak up....its not like your going to get shot down.

Sure we all have rights to speak, but if they dont listen then what is the point? The reason they don't listen is beceasue we don't speak loud enough. There is a differance between protest, threating to take an elected job then brining down the goverment.

@LeahWalentosky The overall direction of this nation is not good in my opinion. Whether it is better than somewhere else is not my concern. The changes here are gradual and that is my concern. For some weird reason so many Americans are content and then by the time they give a shit it is too late. And I happen to think these wars are dirty. So I dont really care what happens if we back out. I think it will improve our safety to leave. But fear propaganda obviously works.

The founders couldnt outlaw slavery as that would have destroyed the US economically. Also slaves were not considered men so they didnt fit in the constitution. Slaves were products.
