@deathscythekim729 I absolutely agree - it seems that the majority of fans like Disc 2 of 6DOIT better than Disc 1, but I much prefer how the band used the studio as an instrument (for a band that writes & records at once, you'd think they'd do it more...) in terms of production on the first disc. Even TGP & TGD, the most "traditional DT" songs got "played with" in the studio and are better for it. As for Blind Faith, Misunderstood & Disappear, they could have been radio hits with good edits.

If I had to make a guess, I'd say he has a bright EQ set with some light overdrive and some chorus. At least that's what I use when I play this song, and it seems to work really well...

I've listened carefully to that point and they don't seem to be off time at all. Rudess, instead, makes some little mistakes during the piano break. Anyway this is a great performance, and I'm very sorry to say that, but it's way better than the one included in the Chaos In Motion DVD. Expecially LaBrie.

Cierto, él canta muy bien en este video, yo fui al concierto de Abril de 2008 y me gustó mucho la actuación de los 5 pero cuando lo escuché en el DVD pensé que estaba escuchando a la Tesorito, jajaja, no lo tomen a mal, soy un gran fan de Dream Theater, pero creo que su último video deja mucho qué desear, aunque trae extras interesantes.

Estoy de acuerdo; James Labrie ha recuperado su voz, ha sonado bien en sus últimas dos giras; pero desde un punto de vista muy personal en el Chaos... suena corto en canciones como Constant Motion o Dark E.N. en donde Mike apoya y lo hace muy bien de lo contrario sonarian muy "flacas"; algunos detractores de D.T. no les gusta la voz de LaBrie, en lo que a mi respecta esta bien, pero estaria mejor con Geoff Tate, Michael Kiske o el vocalista de Fates Warning.

Los escuché ayer en el concierto de DT, ciertamente tocan muy verga.....pero el cantante está para la basura, le da en la madre a la música de Between (cuando menos en concierto). DT como siempre, tocaron muy chingón.
