  • "...the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban"

I guess Fred was throwing snowballs straight into Voldemorts face....

    RIP Fred

  • Voldemort had a nose :0

  • It's so perfect. I just wish they kept it as Voldemort's song. Like everytime he appears BAM The Face of Voldemort. I'd freaking love that.

  • i LOVE harry potter in 99 seconds

  • Split your soul, seven parts of a whole. They're horcruxes! It'd Dumbledore's end!!!

  • Shame we never hear of this again after the CoS. It was like the perfect portrayal of the 'legacy' Voldemort left in the past that it hints here.

Patrick Doyle's "Lord Voldemort" focused on his resurrection like a devil so elegantly & morbidly ascending from hell.

Alexandre Desplat's "Voldemort" in the Special Edition is very minimalistic devoid of warmth & humanity.

I like to think of them as different identities of what people think of him as a figure or person, but dammit I love the 1st best.

  • @AspergianMind yeah Voldemort's Theme from SS and CoS was better

  • Split your soul

    Seven parts of a whole

    They're horcruxes

    It's Dumbledore's end

  • @saimu2 paint :)

  • Selena Gomez's theme 1:25-2:18, cause Voldemort and Selena are the same thing, both ugly, they both turn people against others, they both ruin families and they both take important people from others!

  • @LuigiFletcherBieber wtf is your problem O.o?

  • @ada20101993 I'm just pointing out the truth!

  • @LuigiFletcherBieber but why 'Selena Gomez comment' under the 'Harry Potter video'?!

  • Like if you went here only to check that voldemort actully had a nose in the first movie

  • he had a nose

  • @13Bee1 well what i wanted was this in the last films. 3:44-4:47. add that to nevile killing the snake, and voldemorts death, and BAM epicness. and plus it's kinda fitting. quirrell died by turning into little chunks and so did voldemort

  • THIS should have been in the rest of the films. it shows voldemorts evil side, and not the whole NYEAHHHHHHHHHHH, and Nyahahaha, or well done draco.

  • the first time I saw this I practically shit myself when Voldy's face came out I was so freaking scared and even now I practically shout "bloody hell" each time I see it. It just never ceased to be scary as hell

  • @Neytirihime I was scared of the noseless Voldy back in 2005, because I watched Goblet of Fire and I was like, "Oh my gosh!"

  • he who shall not be named had a nose!!!

  • This music plays on voldys facebook page

  • Okay I freaking LOVE all the other Harry Potter movies, but none were like the first. I remember watching it at a kid and I felt like I was AT Hogwarts. It was so incredibly magical and mysterious, i just loved it!

  • This should have played in the final fight :(

  • @minifig2401 Nah because voldemorts edge changed. He wasn't a mysterious, scary unknown source of evil anymore. We grew to know him as Tom Riddle, the boy who turned bad as the movies went on. He grew less and less scary as the movies went on, because Harry grew braver and braver. So this score wouldn't have fitted for the last movie.

  • Strange because oddly enough, Quirell was sorted into ravenclaw house :O

  • @TheAgent181 Wait? he's in Ravencalw? I didn't know that

  • @jediking12 Yup when he was at hogwarts school he was sorted into ravenclaw.

  • @jediking12 Oh yesss Quirinus was a Ravenclaw and also the muggle studies professor before deciding to take a 1 year sabbatical to prepare for taking over the DADA class

  • @jediking12 Read in pottermore, Quirrel isn't bad, Voldemort controll him... :)

  • @TheAgent181 well remember, quirell wasn't necessarily bad, but voldemort just kinda controlled him........

  • It's Philosopher's Stone, mates!!! JK should really get them to change the whole "Sorcerer's" thing...

  • @xBellatrixLestrangex im American, and even though i grew up (well, growing up) with Sorcerer's, it will always be Philosopher's Stone to me :)

  • in the last movie, voldemort was actually funny at times (harry potter is dead)

  • pause on 1:47 and let me know if u r scared because,I am and always will be

  • i got bored in the begining, and then i realized there was more!!!!!!:)

  • Voldemort's NOSE!

  • 1:51 or around that.

    ''Harry Potter we meed again''.

  • BOTH VOLDEMORTS SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME!

  • @LuigiFletcherBieber Thats cos you are a bieber fan. Voldemort in newer films is lame, but so is bieber, I see why you cant tell the difference.

  • @Eliteyatsu no need to bring bieber into this discussion...he has nothing to do with anything.

  • @kaizoisevil I love Justin Bieber, he's my boyfriend!

  • @LuigiFletcherBieber eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwww u sicko lol

  • These r just pics dummy

  • back when voldy had a nose :P

  • Split your soul, seven parts of a whole, they're hocruxes, it's Dumbledore's EEEEEEEEEND.

  • Voldemort was just completely wrong in the last movie, I think they ruined him

  • you know, when Quirrel died,I guess Voldemort's nose fell off, hense he has no nose in TGOF

  • @McInsane1000 he has no nose in the books..

  • @MrMartinVoss yeah,the filmmakers messed up there.

  • I find that Voldemort from the book is considerably more evil than the one in the films.

  • I can't get the Harry Potter in 99 seconds out of my head >_<

    SPLIT YOUR SOUL- goddamn it!

  • @biggestpotterfreak I'VE HAD THIS SONG IN MY HEAD FOR 3 MONTHS!! 7 parts of a whole.. THEY'RE HORCRUXES! IT'S DUMBLEDORE'S END!!!!

  • voldemort was played by the same actor as quirrel

  • Where IN ALL DAYS did he got a nose?

  • @itsamelody Yeah Paint brought me here too

  • Voldemort looked so much more scary in this movie then the modern ones

  • he have a noseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee yeeeeeeeeee

  • Lol

  • AHHHHHH! This Voldemort frightened the hell out of me and...I think I'm gonna have nightmares. (I'm only 11 years old so...yeah) I like the other Voldemort better, even if he does have a flat nose and looks like an alien.

  • In my opinion, what made this Voldemort scary (other than his voice) was the fact that at the end of the day, it was a grown man trying to kill an 11-year-old boy. That said, I definitely think Ralph Fiennes is overall scarier. Of course he has the slits in his face, and something about his voice, however calm it may be, always puts me on edge. It sounds like it's about to erupt unexpectedly any second.

  • The other Voldemort is more the one described in the book. I mean, this one even has a nose. He may be a little scarier, but this one just doesn't seem like Voldemort..

  • lol harry has a small head

  • Like this if "Harry Potter in 99 Seconds" brought you here. :D

  • CUM HERE POTTA! NAW!

  • @botros2010 NAOWWW!

  • Hahaha I came to post what @itsamelody commented and I was beat then I went to comment a AVPM thing and @dewolfson beat me to that!!!! Oh how I love YouTube.

  • what are Horcruxes?

I'm not even going to tell you Harry, you'll find out soon enough. xD

  • @dewolfson "If this home-made dark mark won't convince you!"

  • @Gilotheking95 same for me xD

  • Split your sooooul Seven part of a whooole THEY'RE HOCRUXEEEES It's Dumbledore's eeeeeeeend

  • @itsamelody haha that's why i came to listen to this :P

  • @itsamelody You gotta love Paint!!!

  • @itsamelody

So I'm not the only one who looked this up right after listening to that? xD

  • @itsamelody I love you <3

  • @itsamelody i saw it too :D

  • @itsamelody you get that from ''Harry Potter on 99 seconds'' right?

  • @HDQOrocks101 Yeah!

  • @itsamelody I came here just cus i watched that. =]

  • @itsamelody Hahahahahahaha PAINT ! <3

  • @itsamelody XD You watched it too!!

  • @itsamelody YES!

  • Hell I'm just throwing this out there, it's not an excuse for any arguments: I actually prefer Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort. They are both scary, powerful and deadly in the films. But Fiennes is very subtle is his voice as Voldemort, like a snake before it strikes. I just like him better. It's just my opinion, I felt like I needed to show my support for Ralph Fiennes. Very nice soundtrack though!

  • i remeber when his face used to scare me.... oh those were the days... i miss yesterday

  • i always much preferred this version of voldemort, he scared the crap outta me and he seemed very demonic and inhuman. fiennes portrayed voldemort more like just a powerful wizard which i suppose that is what voldemort is. but (hart/bremmer?) did justice to the sense of terrifying presence i always felt from the books. no offense to you ralph fiennes, ur still a great actor lol

  • @jhibbitt1 I Agree the Voldemort in the first film sounded more evil

  • @jediking12 And that creepy look in his eyes

  • @jhibbitt1 i feel fromteh first films voldemort was an untouchable and unspeakable wizard, but when he took a physical form he became 'human'. I think it wasnt the actor but rather the fact voldemort was an actual being now instead of some demonic prescence everyone feared. thats my opinion :/

  • @jhibbitt1 I totally understand what you mean, But I think the darker voice was to represent the lack of wholeness within him. In fact I think the bloke who voiced Voldemort in the fourth film voices him partly in the furth film, before his ressurection. :)

  • @jhibbitt1 I agree! This one scared me more, which is what Voldemort is supposed to do. This one seemed less human, which was good. Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort kind of just makes me laugh.

  • @jhibbitt1 nah, i like ralph phiennes version better, the first one is too cheesy, he plays a more demented paranoid version which makes him amazing

  • @jhibbitt1 in the end of DH pt 2 i believe (no offense if you dont think this) Fiennes kinda ruined the image of Voldemort when he hugged Draco. It was funny, sure, but threw the character waaaaaay off.

  • @jhibbitt1 Voldemort form 4-7 looked like a clown, nothing like the books, Fiennes voice and face was perfect but the make up and the eyes looked so stupid!

  • @9753241860hb What do you mean? 4-8 is the only time that Voldy actually fits the description of the book, minus the eye that is.

  • @jhibbitt1 You're completely right, Fiennes' Voldemort was more likely just crazy. I guess his craziness was supposed to be scary and it worked sometimes, but it also seemed very ridiculous and it made me laugh. I do admire Ralph Fiennes though, he's awesome.

  • 3:45

    KILL HIM!!!!!!!

  • Woah, this was definitely played in Chamber of Secrets too. :3

  • i am legitmately scared.

  • Thumbs up if you can imagine a lot of this soundtrack in a Star Wars film.

  • @marinogobub shut up.

  • @NanceyKinney817 Wow, you're cheap.

  • sooo in this movie he had a nose xD

  • We all were pleased that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 had been already leaked. We each enjoyed the entire thing on watch harry potter. us (no spaces)

  • when i was five Voldemort used to give me nightmares :L

  • @MsGleek456 i'm 15 and he still does :/

  • I find it weird that in Book 1 it says Voldemort had slits like a snake but here in the film he has a normal nose

  • @jediking12 thats intersting i never rememberd that so the way he looks in movies 4,5,6,7 and 8 are all correct

  • @jediking12 someone fucked up.

  • @pallypower3000 Chris Columbis? jk!

  • @jediking12 Yes, he did. (I'm Australian XD)

  • @jediking12 The probably wanted his appearance to evolve with no nose. Maybe

  • @jediking12 Rowling lol ;)

  • @jediking12 it's because he wasn't actually reborn yet (i think)

  • @jediking12 Becasuse, whenever he lost a horcrux he losted a part of his soul - his own. You see in eight movie he almost completly loosed his mind.

  • @jediking12 i looked and it does say that

  • @jediking12 in the book he has silts like a snake and in the movie he has a nose what?

  • It's philosophers stone!!!

    O my god stupid americans

  • @mchammer1231 bitch

  • @mchammer1231 Actually the American version is called Sorcerer's. Even I know that and I live in England.

  • 3:26 if you look at harry it seems his head is too small for his body

  • @Bluo7585 light bends, remember? :D cos the camera has him focused out of the shot, the background light fuzzes and bends further, distorting his head

  • "Harrrryyy potterrr we meet again!"

  • @TipoSanguineoA Especially the rebirth scene in Goblet of Fire

  • "TELL THE TRUTH!"

  • uh mean 2:54

  • love 2:57

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A NOSE!!!!!

  • HE HAS A NOSE!!!!!!!

  • I love the new Voldemort, perfect casting....

But they NEEDED the fucking Voldemort theme in the new ones.

  • WHERE IS THE ONE WITH THEM VOLDEMORT SUCKING ON THE UNICORN BLOOD IN THE WOODS??

  • @kissmeboi Its not on the soundtrack, however I do have a recording session on it on my channel called "The Forbidden Forest"

  • @jediking12 you are a genius!!

  • What's the song in the end where everyone throws up their hats?

  • Is that one who disliked this, a twilight fan?? Than i got a cool picture for him !!

  • The best movie soundtrack ever!!

  • Does anyone know te name of the soundtrack when Harry walks downstairs towards Quirrel and the Mirror of Erised?

  • @LuckyLu93 Yes, the part of that music was used in the Chamber of Secrets Soundtrack the track called "Meeting Tom Riddle" has it

  • Relax, Voldemort. Put on your coooool faaaaaace...

  • Although, is it me, or does this sound like a mix between "The Imperial March" and "The Emperor's Theme", both from Star Wars?

  • @ItachiIshtar Because John Williams did the music for both Star Wars and Harry Potter thats why and it is a resmeblence to The Emperor's Arrival from Return of the Jedi

  • @jediking12 Yeah I realized that John Williams did both films. I guess the resemblance is because it's his style, so a few of his themes are bound to be similar to each other. I'd also say "Entrance to The Great Hall/The Diagon Alley theme that was used in the movie, but not the CD" is similar to John Williams' music from Home Alone.

  • @ItachiIshtar John Williams.

  • @ItachiIshtar There are alot of similarities between the Harry Potter and Star Wars soundtracks, primarily because John Williams composed both. As good a composer as Williams is, he never really manages to move away from one type of orchestrated sound. Whereas somebody like Hans Zimmer manages too. He's done hundreds of film and game scores, including Gladiator and Modern Warfare 2 ~ yet sometimes it's hard to tell whether he composed them or not. Both are brilliant composers though.

  • @BBFalconShot And Jurassic Park. I would get one song from HP or JP stuck in my head and it morphed to another. I mean, it's nice and all that John Williams has such a distinctive style, but seriously, dude, I don't want to be hearing Jurassic Park music when I listen to the Harry Potter soundtrack!

Also, Hans Zimmer is the shit. :D

  • @BBFalconShot

Actually, I can tell when Hans Zimmer has composed. But that's because I love him. However, you are correct. John Williams found a formula that worked for him, and he hasn't really changed. Hans Zimmer has several and he tweaks them every time. I've played Jurassic Park and Harry Potter, and even on that level, it's the same. There's not a lot of a difference.

  • is it just me or does every song on this soundtrack sound the same? they all have bits of either "reunion of friends" or "hedwigs theme" in them. ALL OF THEM! but john williams is still a genius!!!! XD

  • he has a nose :OOOOO

  • 2:30 sounds like "detailing evil plot" music

  • why was it called the Philosopher's stone here and yet everywhere else its called teh Sorcerer's stone. Its the Philosopher's stone. >< dammit.

  • @NemmyLadyZombie its only called Sorcerors Stone in America

  • Quierrel: What is it, what do you see?!

Harry: That bloke in the mirror snuck rocks into MY pocket!

  • @hoodge95 i know, and i dont say i dont like his voice, because i think he has a beautifle voice, but its not how i imagined it when reading The Goblet of Fire or the folowing parts after the movie, i imagined his face, and his vioce like how it was in the first movie, wich were total different i think. : )

  • @hoodge95 yes i said it, thats how it is dexribed in the book.

  • Still the point is...Ralph Fiennes is a great actor...altough i dont like his soft vioce more than the rough, harsh vioce in The philospher Stone, thats how it is described in the book. The only thing i dont like him as Voldemort,is that he seems to Over-acting a little bit.

Especialy in the goblet of fire he wasnt how i imagined the Dark Lord, while in the first one he was so calm and focust, but scary. But in the deathly hallows he did a better job, the way he broke the hilt malfoys wand was cool.

  • You get used to Voldemort not having a nose. I was watching a behind the scene thing where the new Voldemort still had his nose (they didn't edit it yet) and it looked soooo wierd. The no nose deal makes him look much more scary in my opinion. lol

  • I just realized something while watching a Harry Potter marathon with my BFF:

Voldemort has a nose in the first movie, but only slits in the others.....

    WHY!!!!!!!

  • his face in the first movie...

his face in the fourth movie...

    why??? :O

  • thanks¡¡¡ i finally found it

  • Does anyone know the name of the spooky soundtrack when Harry goes through the library at night in the invisibility cloak? I really wanna know !

  • @blackwallstreet1313 The Invisibility Cloak And The Library Scene

  • Wauw, at least he had nose here.

  • @Anieckieee Lol I googled this vid to see if he had a nose in the first one xD

  • Does anybody else think the Saunders Triplets - they played baby Harry- are going to the Deathly Hallows pt.2 premier? It would be pretty cool if they did XD

  • the man with two faces

  • Thank you! This voldemort was so scary even to this day! Ralph Fienne's voldemort seems so unscary

  • I really love the old harry potters, especially the PHILOSOPHERS stone. guh

  • 2:22 reminds me of clint eastwood

  • Some notes as Darth Vaders Theme......

  • This Voldemort is more MORE terrifiying than the new one.

His voice is ...aaah, scary !
