This is a mature song written by Dan at the age of 21 but in my opinion he was always ahead of himself beginning with Home Free. So glad that this was finally released. We will never forget you Dan. Thank you again JM. "No one said when love is weak it may be getting stronger." I can totally relate to my first love at the age of 21 w/these words. If we had only known / heard these words then.... Very lovely song from "Full Circle" I would had loved to have heard this from our younger Dan. I guess better late than never! It's not my favorite lyrical written song, but the melody is gorgeous! What I find amazing, each word matches the notes in the melody perfectly,as most of his songs did . Dan was the master at melodies!!
"Taking turns at being friends and lovers, hearing what we both believe from others." is a lyric that hit me down deep. Maybe a little too much so. And a wonderful video from Bill, capturing the spirit of those feelings. Bravo!
