I saw this at the Bellas Artes last night in Madrid. Excellent set and direction. I think perhaps 'based on The Tempest' would have been a better billing as there were some MAJOR changes from the original script. I think Shakespeare has worked well for 400 years or so and probably doesn't need THATmuch editing and adding to. However, I enjoyed a brave, well-prepared production and would love to see this theatre company again.
