It took so long loading I finally gave up. I think I saw a man in the very begining. It played for a second then back to loading. For a 7:15 min. video it wasn't worth my patience But neither is my Dail-up

Ahh I think it was well written but the narration is what killed it for me. The acting was great and everything but I just didn't think his voice suited narration.
honestly, the dark still scares me. When I'm alone in a very dark environment, my imagination takes flight. Only the imagery isn't so comforting, lol. Ironically enough though, I love being in an open field in the dead of night, away from the city lights.
The killer could have just turned on the room light. That is why you need the night light so you can position yourself and as soon as the killer enters you can mace him or shoot him!Hehe!

He sounds too young. But kudos on the suggestion to watch it with no lights! great atmosphere, great writing (the opening particularily). Keep it up!

When you edit the sound try not to use headphones, it messes up the playback. Edit on regular computer speakers (if it's clear on cruddy speakers, it'll be clear anywhere!). And I don't know how you did this one, but editing all the sound and equalizing it and all that stuff on a separate program like Pro tools or Soundtrack Pro is very beneficial.
that line when it says "that was when i realized i wanted it to be dark" gives me the chills. it's so profound and horrifying, that a six-year-old boy would have to cope with darkness as the lesser evil when a murderer is in his room looking for him. wow! what an amazing work!

I was not afraid, just used to it. Then one day our power went out. I was forced to sleep in darkness. The next night, although our power was restored, I forced myself to sleep in darkness again. Now I cannot sleep unless I have total darkness. Even a dim or faint light is an annoyance to me, and I cannot sleep with it.
I remember as a small boy there was MAYBE something creepy under my bed that might grab me. I was never sure. So I would look but see nothing. I thought MAYBE it was invisible in the light or could only be solid in the dark. I was never sure. So I would do my security check and stand by the light switch. I would simultaniously flick the switch off as I Jumped into bed. So I was safe. I just had to try not to let my hands or feet over the side where "IT" could get me.

i cannot tell you how much this film has affected me. like seriously.
now sometimes i wake up at the middle of the night and i feel like somebody's going just break into my house.
