when i click on hyper/persp it only shows the work area how do i bring up the create tab/

in the work area in the hypershade selection how do i zoom out to see my work if i dont have a wheeled mouse im on a lap top?

another way to zoom in/out in the work area is to hold ALT and both mouse buttons. then scroll left and right to zoom in and out.

and in right bottom is: not for commercial use :S

how can i get rid of that screen?

sorry to tell you that you can't. the only way to get rid of it is to have the official software not the demo or the copy

I've been looking for good Maya tutorials, and these ones are the best i've seen.

For a beginner, it's giving an usefull overview.

Without being to long, you keep the viewer's attention, with the dark man on the screen.

You also force him to experiment, which I think is most important in creating confidence with the tool.
