where i lived their is a 100m steepish straight downhill, it was a lovely start to the journey but the problem was the corner at the bottom was quite sharp so i would only just make it around the corner without the tires slipping out (stupid road bike tires). i loved it really :)

What if I'm going uphill in a lane, and there are cars behind me. And it takes a lot of work for me to ride up the hill. Do I have the right to ride uphill on a lane when cars are behind me ? or Do I use the sidewalk ?

help them overtake you by giving hand signal to let them pass if ahead is safe to do so.

otherwise just hand wave to wait and keep on maintaining you climbing pace.

If they don't appreciate what you're trying to do or they just impatient, then they're just a dick...

@ThisTraction Yea, he/she has a place to go too! Not to mention, it is illegal to ride a bike on a sidewalk, except children 12 or younger.
