I wouldn't say he deserves it, really fucked up to say that, but anyone and everyone should know the risks they are taking being around these animals. Would I let this bear to have contact with humans again? No.

I'm watching the documentary "Grizzly Face To Face" right now. This is the first time I saw this horrible video. I saw nothing that could have provoked the attack. That proves just how unpredictable wild animals can be. The trainer, Randy, should've had a the mace or a pistol ready not a cane. Why did they take so long to mace the bear? They will always be wild animals no matter how trained they are. I'm watching the documentary "Grizzly Face To Face" right now. This is the first time I saw this horrible video. I saw nothing that could have provoked the attack. That proves just how unpredictable wild animals can be. And although there are people who willingly take risks like this with wild animals, unless I had a firearm or was protected by a strong barricade, I do everything possible to keep a safe distance away from any potentially dangerous wild animal. I just saw this documentary and I feel bad that Stephan died but you have to wonder why would someone get that close to a grizzly even if it was trained. The trainer, Randy, should've had a the mace or a pistol ready not a cane. Why did they take so long to mace the bear? They will always be wild animals no matter how trained they are. Same thing happened with Roy Horn of Siegfried & Roy.

The bear did some kind of corny pose at the very beginning of the video- it was like a parody of a martial arts stance. Question: If they are teaching the bear to basically wipe the floor with a man, and the bear has jaws which can basically rip your throat out- WHY ISN"T THE BEAR MUZZLED DURING TRAINING? You might live through some terrible claw wounds- but if the bear gets your neck in his teeth, he can kill you in seconds- these so called bear training experts ought to know this.
