Wonderful playing. Just bought a 46-47 LG2 sight unseen. Your video was the deciding factor in my choice to buy it. I bought it (thru a mutual friend) from the second owner in Colorado (about 1000 miles away from me here in Chicago area). It turns out he bought it in 1958 from the original owner in Chicago. So it will be coming "Home Sweet Home". Thanks for the music.
Oh,thanks much! I'm happy to read that i influenced someone out there buying one of those vintage guitars!
In my opinion, those early LG-2s are great values and they represent that famous Gibson sound very well.Warm sounding, loud, articulate, and that famous in-your-face sound that only a good Gibson can give.
its clear youve listened to tony rice at some point.. im guessing youve learned from his videos.. possibly not but judging by your playing, come on.. ha youre great!
Thanks, yes,i used to be(and still am)a big Tony Rice fan.I've learned from his videos, but never copied his style note to note.I've always wanted to play my own thing, but yes, stealing and sharing licks is what makes guitar playing funny!
ohhh thats a nice guitar! really like it. great playing.
