  • lol?

  • What are rear wheels???

  • @marshallrc79 In the field, they are Wheely King tires from HPI. On the parking lot, they are Proline paddle tires.

  • That's sick

  • @K1NgS120 They're mounted to the axle stub

  • How did you attach the skis

  • shoudnt the skis be on the back not the front O.o i think it would look better too

  • @TTGxSPARTAN It is rear wheel drive.

  • It would be cool if it cool haul a sled up a hill

  • snow dragster this is a new sport

  • @MultiNik09 Dubro part number DUB825 or DUB827 on the Great Hobbies web site.

  • I don't see the point the 4x4 version is better in the snow with 4 wheels cuz the wheels in the front will pull the truck in the snow for better turning and the rear will push for speed and with skis you can't turn at full speed so WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING SKIS besides epic

  • Add some paddle tires I did the same thing with mine and the front end stays up a little more so the skis don't push down.

  • what did you use for water proffing

  • Where was that taken?

  • this is so awesome. check out my slash snow jump vid. your car would be perfect for the jump

  • lol

  • where do you get skis ??

  • Gets some paddles on the back.

  • How did you put the skies on that.

  • Do you have it geared down to spin those huge tires since its just the XL-5??? Nice setup by the way

  • is your steering affected at all?

  • cool slash. im trying to do something like that with mine. what was the snow like that day? i mean what is the worst snow you can run in? can i go through powdered snow? and what tires, wheels, and axle attachments are you using?

  • im trying to make my slash run through powdered snow. i was thinking of using monster truck paddles. what do you think?

  • how were they mounted i looked them up and it said they were for airplanes could u tell me how to mount them and do u think they would work on an e-maxx

  • @traxxasFan101

They're mounted using the stock aircraft mounts in the Du Bro ski package. Due to the larger axles and pillow ball suspension on the E-Maxx, you would probably have to make some type of extension to make sure the ski clears the axle housing.

  • @traxxasFan101 on a 4x4, i wouldnt eve use skis. just put paddles all around

  • Awesome vid. And I thought I was doing something when I added snow chains on my Slash lol!

  • Are you running brushless on the Slash? and are these the Stampede Talon wheels?

  • rock.

  • How does it turn

  • Just like a snowmobile, it turns best on lightly packed snow to fluffy snow. It has virtually no steering on ice or asphalt. It's worth noting that the asphalt will wear down the ski's quite quickly.

  • O ok thanks

  • O ok

  • Cool idea, is this Jamie driving? 'cause the driving is pretty bad, lol, Just kidding man ;-)

I just got my skis from you guys, a set for my 40 size and a set for my small electric, just waiting for a good day to try them out :-)

    Post more vids :-)

  • Jamie was the driver hehehe
