I don't see the point the 4x4 version is better in the snow with 4 wheels cuz the wheels in the front will pull the truck in the snow for better turning and the rear will push for speed and with skis you can't turn at full speed so WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING SKIS besides epic
cool slash. im trying to do something like that with mine. what was the snow like that day? i mean what is the worst snow you can run in? can i go through powdered snow? and what tires, wheels, and axle attachments are you using?
how were they mounted i looked them up and it said they were for airplanes could u tell me how to mount them and do u think they would work on an e-maxx
They're mounted using the stock aircraft mounts in the Du Bro ski package. Due to the larger axles and pillow ball suspension on the E-Maxx, you would probably have to make some type of extension to make sure the ski clears the axle housing.
Just like a snowmobile, it turns best on lightly packed snow to fluffy snow. It has virtually no steering on ice or asphalt. It's worth noting that the asphalt will wear down the ski's quite quickly.
lol?

What are rear wheels???
marshallrc79 5 months ago
@marshallrc79 In the field, they are Wheely King tires from HPI. On the parking lot, they are Proline paddle tires.

Add some paddle tires I did the same thing with mine and the front end stays up a little more so the skis don't push down.
