Sadly this is strategy, and ones similar, are still in circulation even in Soul Calibur 4.

Thus, I usually choose caged matches if my opponent shows that they are willing to throw me off the edge to win, then suddenly their main strategy goes right out the window. Funny that.

Except he has like frame disadvantage on 99% of his moves. He has no decent lows. He has problem comtaining step-g.

His bomb/arrow/rang moves takes up command slots and don't actually do anything. Bombs slow/gimmicky,Arrows can be stepped on reaction (only good in combos) and rang can be ducked, lol.

Add that in addition to his 30%-ish as his max combo damage compared to other chars, lacking throw damage (+ everybody knows to break A+G throw near edge)

What's left = low-tier character.

Nobody should get hit more then twice in the air. You can Air Control out of it easily, avoiding the whole 'cheap' ring out entirly.

Throwing of the stage is Link's cheap attack. I like link's half moon swipe, fly arrow+ double spin atk combo.
