I lived in the same house as Obo when my son was born. I was "nesting", going crazy cleaning the communal kitchen whe nwas right next to my bedroom where my son was to be born. I was mopping the kitchen floor for the second time when Obo came in and said I shouldn't be working so so hard, what could he do for me? I asked him to mop the f\loor again after I finished. A THIRD time! and he did. Bless you Obo. Nilo is a fine young man in spite of nor having a woven metal wig to protect him. Tia
I remember filming this segment. Obo continues to drum and play many of the forgotten rhythms from ghana
