  • I can;t decide if this is supposed to be a mocking criticism of country music, or an tribute to it.

  • love it ,hes a legend ,I like (easy goin vid mr bassman ) (australia) sorry original vid clip not found so i mixed with various easy goin band gigs

  • this is by far not the best version

  • My favorite pic of the Man..

I had the pleasure and honor of meeting him at a soundcheck.

    He was funny guy...

  • " He is THE BASS MAN!" You are well missed!

  • Ummm....I'm pretty damn sure that John has nothing to do with this song.

  • Obviously the musicians involved had the foresight and good taste to celebrate their inspirations, as Entwistle did with this faithful cover of the Johnny Cymbal classic. Too bad that so many in their audience were obsessed with flavor of the month mentality to get it, though.

  • good memories! i used to love this silly song in the 70's! :)

  • I love this. So John is the low voice, who is the other voice?

  • Comment removed

  • this is how you play bass without any arms

  • Too bad there is no video or legitimate bio of who sings what here. GREAT VIDEO still! (or shall I say "song"?

  • With the Who, John provided the high falsettos and also the occasional deep bass part. Quite an amazing vocal range.

  • This song is so freakin' crazy! I LOVE IT!

  • Fun to sing along!

  • haha i love this ong xD

  • is the bearded one in the background pete townshend?

  • thesantoshow93@ yes it is (:

  • wit. whos singin the highr voice if john is singin the low voice?keith?

  • John sings all of the vocals. Did you ever see the Rolling Stones RnR Circus? He sings falsetto. So think from falsettos to the baritones of Boris the Spider. No wonder he lost his voice in the latter years.

  • @TakeUsOutOfThisGloom John on "A Quick One" at the Rock 'n' Roll Circus is simply amazing falsetto work. I've never heard anything like it.

  • he's not the higher voice. i'd be willing to believe he was the lower one.

  • John is not the low singer. The high singer sounds like him. I'm almost positive it is him.

  • Well, maybe he sang both voices.

  • I think it sound like Keith Moon personally. Listen to Cousin Kevin Model Child and then this one.

  • Lol, this is awesome.

  • john entwistle is who sings this? or he just play the bass??

  • John is (shockingly) the bassier (if that's even a word) voice in this song.

  • I though he was the highest voice ? The bass voice sounds really too... bass to be his voice.

Or he really had an incredible vocal range, and it's a shame he wasn't the lead singer of the Who. ^^

  • "Boris the Spider" and "You are Forgiven" show off his range

  • woah wait, so that's John singing the really low part? I think I just squealed a little... And it's official, John can do EVERYTHING!

  • @lunarsandwich

who is sining the "bass man" the baritone in the song?

  • @lunarsandwich Sorry but I think John sings the lead.

  • This is SO ridiculous I just LOVE it.

    Bom-bo-bo-bobo-bobo-boom ! xD

  • king!

  • OMG! I love this song!

  • This is the most legendary Bass Player in History! He will live in all of our minds. R.I.P. John Entwistle :(

  • YES

  • It's almost ridiculous how much I love this man.

  • Same here.

  • @norkafox Join the club. :)

  • MY LIFE HAS BEEN MADE.
